Step 3: Stay away and win on points.
Step 4 (aka the Sh*ts & Giggles step): HSS hit & run and see how many IMP rolls he can make.

At 300pts, a Thanos team would not make a single attack roll against me.

For some reason, Lucky cannot play against E Thing. Try it. Watch his dice grow cold. Watch as E Thing tears a new backside against whatever uber-force Lucky brings to the table.

Dave, did you get a Thanos?

I have the Purple. I'm using him until the next set or until I'm lucky enough to pull one from a "have to" booster. Judges locally let me use purples (this being the only time I'll be using a purple instead- I have every other U I'd ever use.)

I don't care what anyone says, I think Thanos would be fun to run.

However, I would like to test it a little bit before I play in the 30 pt tournament. I haven't played since April.

I've already made a 300 point on-the-dot Thanos build, it uses a couple interesting feats.

But man, Disbanded is what's worrying me. Which is why he'll rock when it gets cycled out :D

Just ran a couple of refresher games of clix today. Got to test out the Supernova map, Flash-Bug, and a pure Thanos team. It was a good learning experience.

For starters, Thanos CAN make a lot of IMP rolls
And he CAN land a hit. I REALLY REALLY could use 5 damage with Outwit though.
Ah well. Still undecided on what I really want to run next week.

I got a new pair of dice in my stocking this year and they have THE MOJO. I don't know how many times I threw these bad boys, but there were a lot of mid to high rolls - not my typical 3's and 4's. (Hoping it wasn't just Christmas magic.)

Well how'd everybody do? Any clix? I didn't but I got loads of awesome comics including a Very Fine copy of Amazing SpiderMan 300 (first Venom), ASM #34 (Kraven), and ASM 42 (first issue of Mary Jane and 2nd appearance of The Rhino!)

I imagine both those comics are going to soar in price after the movie's out. I read them all last night. SOOOOOOOOOOO much of a simpler time back then. Anyway, sorry, they're just so unexpected and cool!

And like I said awhile ago, bought myself a Victor Creed LE for 16.00. That was my gift to myself.

As I reported earlier, my wife bought me a case of Origins - preorder from Potomac Distribution - thanks to Lucky for turning me on to their site. Just have to wait until February to get it (like everyone else ), but worth the wait (being a DC man, of course)!
