Quick question I should have asked before now probably:
So team bases are a no-no, but can I draft singular Super Booster pieces? I assumed yes, but now I'm second guessing myself.
You can use the clix that go on a team base.
You can only draft the cheapest carded version of a character or the cheapest uncarded version of a character. You will then be able to use in figure that character has access to that is of an equal or lesser point cost.

Okay, now I'm confused. I meant for the core. I thought your core could be any figures as long as it fits the limits. Is that wrong?

Core follows same rules as draft just with thematic requirements.
Let's say you wanted to run a Justice League of Amazons Team
Here are all of the characters that are considered thematic:
Wonder Woman
Huntress
Big Barda
Zatanna
Power Girl
Black Orchid
Wonder Woman could be drafted at her Cosmic Justice version for 71 points or her Diana Prince version from Brave and the Bold for 32 pts.
Huntress could be drafted at 18 pts from Hyper Time or 50 pts from Batman Alpha
Zatanna can be drafted at her 29 pt version from CJ or her 72 pt version from Justice League
Power Girl is available at 97 pts from Legacy or 199 B&B
Black Orchid is only available at 44 points.
Now the cheapest versions of all of those add up to 220 pts, so you couldn't quite core them all.
If you chose to grab the 50 pt Huntress you would have access to her and all 3 versions from legacy, but would have to wait to upgrade to the SoG version or the FF version. You wouldn't have access to World's Finest or Superman/Wonder Woman since that's Hellena Wayne and not Hellena Bertinelli.

Putting some finishing touches on the Season 11 thread. Got a question or two.
Vehicles: They're banned, but are Overdrive's vehicle bystander or Warlock's buggy ability allowed? And are their any other standard characters with hidden vehicle abilities that should be noted?

The rules in HCFL say you can't draft a character with the symbol. Neither of those possess that symbol, so they are allowed in the HCFL.

Well, in the HCFL game I'm subbing in, I'm playing against Overdrive, but this is technically something else, so that info might be useless
That's good, thanks for pointing that out. I'm wanting to make sure we weren't going for a prohibition of any type of vehicle whatsoever. I'll probably include Overdrive and Warlock in a note about our vehicle rules.
Kinda the same as our rule against resources, though we have Penguin as the exception.
Dr. Light (Arthur). By and large, we've kept the New 52 versions with their old universe counterparts. But Dr. Light is one of the few examples we've got of a character that was diametrically different between the continuities. Pre-52 Light was clearly a villain, whereas the 52 one was heroic. Any thoughts on separating them? Make him neutral? Keep him a villain that can only be drafted by the 52 JLA?
