I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.

Its official, Wizkids doesn't know what their customers want.
They, like any business, gage what their customers want off of how many dollars it takes in, not by the #####ing and moaning on message boards.
Their bean-counters see that the set sold very well compared to Arkham Asylum (up about 30% off the starting blocks) and believe it to be very popular.
I'm not sure how much say the accountants have on what the finals product looks like. Hopefully the developers get the idea that duos and generics are OK, but they need to scale back the numbers.
It is good to see the degree to which people are coming back to Clix, though. Arkham was a superior set, but came out at a lull, people were starting to fall out of the game.
Now we get a bad set, but the company is taking the right moves to keep people excited. If they can mix the quality dials of Arkham/SI/Crisis with the marketing of the last couple sets, then the game will continue to flourish.

Between that and I thought that day 2 was sealed. Now that it's on day 1, it makes going to Gencon one helluva gamble. Travel across the US for hoping you get a good booster pull. I hate sealed so much.
Sooooo...who's up for 300 point Gencon FLOOR TEAMS on SUNDAY?!

I think (Battlezone) Justin has taken over that mantle. He has played him alot since he got him. Last Tuesday, several times at weekly events, at Chase for Throg.
In his defense it is one of the few power figs he has and sometimes does need to run it to keep up with the Jones'. Yet he loses with him so badly.
I wish more of the Battlezone guys would have go-to power figs. Then at least they will be playing with solid teams while learning the game. If I see an all grounded stand-still shooter team one more time.
Take note Oasis Nick. Don't want to get labeled a Vet Transporter Hawkeye player like Eric. Especially since he doesn't have the greatest W/L record for you. Time to try out some of the other elite figs out there.
