I originally was going to ask for five, but thought that might be too hard. Foolish of me, in retrospect, what with all the turnover in that book. I fully expected to see Karin Grace, Big Sir or Modem in there.
Your question, Custom.

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.

On the 1960s Superman cartoons, Superman's enemies joined forces as a group with an acronym for a name. What was this group's name and what did the acronym stand for?

I had no fricking idea. I looked it up on Wikipedia, and I still had no fricking idea, but it gave me something to start with. 15 minutes later, I found the answer.
But as it breaks the spirit of the contest, I won't say the answer.

Still.... !
Aww... don't worry. Just relax. Sleep on it. Get a nice rest. Maybe dream the night away. Just don't go all freudian and dream of your weird uncle sitting around naked with a big bowl of bananas in his lap and a cigar in his mouth.
I know the answer. And it's not so much superman villians as it is Jonathan Kent villians.
It's a group of farmers who hate chickens. As such, they banded together and formed the group known as "The Farmers Union of Chicken Killers".
On Back At The Barnyard, they're more subtle about cursing than you are. (Otis the Cow swears at least once an episode; but he uses cow words, so the kids don't really know what he's saying. My six-year-old son doesn't get it when Otis says "What the cud?" or "Milk me!", but I do.)

Never said I was trying to be subtle.
Actually, I know the correct answer, but I only know because I saw the episode recently. However, I went and watched it again because I couldn't remember the name of one of the villians involved because he looked so different in the cartoon then the way I remember him in the books. So, I'm out of the game. But still, I had to monkey around with the various groups I could come up with and the various names that I could think of.
The SDS, or the "Students for a Defenseless Superman."
--or the SLA, the "Superman Loathers of America."

I don't get it. I didn't make a donation and yet I'm suddenly registered as a Gold donor. I'm more valuble then CuCr & Wyld ? Something is screwy here.
Now if only I could figure out how to replace the word "member" above the avatar....
