They are appropriately huge. We have the debut of the HDC team, led by the merry Eagletsi. Welcome aboard, Eag, and thanks for all your patience! Hope you enjoy your game.
The JL/Metropolis game sees special appearances by Hal Jordan and the JLI, the HDC deal with Kyle Rayner, and the Titans are put in a VERY tight spot, with updates on the Flashes, the JSA, the Marvels... you'll want to read all these to get the complete picture of what's happening in the DCU. Major events, and I'm very proud of what we've been able to do together - thanks to Jack and Gargan for all their help.
So where are the updates on the Gang Wars posted. Who is winning? etc
Oh yeah, all games over? I will get hot on reading both endings and do the newspaper write up's. Is anyone scheduled to take over the Defenders? Please Please put me on that list, that is my all time favorite team.
If I make you a trade offer, even if you think it's ridiculous, please at least respond with a kind and simple "Thanks but no thanks."
I've sent Rolling his epilogue notes, and I have begun work on my own. There will be a bigger recap before the start of the second Gang Wars arc, but to summarize;
The Heroes for Hire managed to gain control of the Docks. They have also protected the Daily Bugle long enough to earn its bonus, which will be available to them at the start of the next arc.
The Black Tarantula and the Kingpin managed to whittle each others' territory away until they only control their home bases each, and are in danger of being knocked out of New York. This has been a costly war.
Meanwhile, the Sinister Six have been quietly spreading their control and acquiring resources. In the first arc they have taken control of Hell's Kitchen and the Warehouse District, and retook Hammer Industries after suffering some sabotage from a Hand raid. They have now earned the bonus from Hells' kitchen and (by the time the annuals end) the Warehouse district, further cementing Dr. Octopus' hold on New York's criminal underworld and putting the Sinister Six in the lead for control of the city. Having retaken control of Justin Hammer from the Hand in the most recent issue, Octopus has put his machine shops to work improving the Sinister Six's tech, having built an octobot. If they continue to hold onto that territory until the end of the next Gang War issue, they'll have upgraded their tech as well.

I'd like to argue in favor of the inclusion of the 43-point R Ant-Man recently spoiled (Chaos War set #26) in the progression for Hank Pym. If you ignore the stupid names assigned to the powers, the power set and capabilities are more than commensurate with Hank's powers. Even the SHIELD TA could be ascribed to Hank's scientific prowess/skill in modifying ranged weapons...
I think I'd prefer leaving that particular dial as Eric O'Grady myself. Aside from the SHIELD connection, the powers synch up to a sneaky newbie much better than a veteran scientist like Pym. He's rather low cost too, Pym should be more capable than that. But more to the point, Pym already has a ton of dials, and will be getting a ton MORE dials in Chaos War.
Aside from the awesome Wasp/Ant-Man duo you will get to add to your team, the Hank Pym (civilian clothes) dial that was previewed reveals that we're going to be getting a handful of Pym identities at 75 points apiece that Pym can swap between, ala Beast Boy and Punisher. If past sets are anything to go by, I would expect to see Hank Pym, Ant Man, male-Wasp & Giant Man all at 75 points in Chaos War. So with all that to choose from, IMO Pym can leave ONE measly little dial for O'Grady to use
I'm hoping we get a Scott Lang with the FF TA as a prize LE or something too.
