You can still use the BN figs but need a duo too. Next week we can do whatever we want with the BN figs and leave the carp that is batb behind us.

I don't want to start stuff so if you're all to scared to make a duo team that's fine but either way I will be bringing it with a duo team.

The ones you just named are retired. Those were all printed pre-Avengers.

As it is, that's fine that we aren't using them. But I don't think we need to have a ruling on this. The only ones that aren't in retired sets are the ones from HoT and BatB.

Actually Legionares and GLC are from JLA. MSOE is from Crisis. Still not legal....

Wow I sleep for 12hrs because I've had insomnia since Sat night and the boards go all crazy on me. Well here is my rebuttle. If you take this as arguing then unfriend me and block me.

ATAs Printed in Stat Card Era:
Legionnaires = Justice League
Green Lantern Corps. = Justice League
Monster Society of Evil = Crisis

All 3 of these are legal at Modern Age tournaments at Comic Oasis under their current printed wording.

If other venues in town want to ban these, that is your choice. It may be prudent to clairfy your wording when you post banning rulings.

6/13 Comic Oasis Tournament:
A Duo figure is no longer mandatory to meet the requirements of the tournament. If you field a figure from the Blackest Night Starter Set you meet the requirements of the tournament and the team is legal.

Most players do not like Duo figures and/or are tired of playing figures from BatB (where most of the Duos are printed in). Based on this feeling from the play environment, I changed the requirements of the tournament to make it more enjoyable for a majority of the players.

If you still want to field a Duo figure, you are more than welcome to.

And since it seems to be in vogue (and this portion is designed to p*ss a few peolpe off)

All of this stuff has got to stop. We should be discussing my chase of the championship, and the fact that Dustin is ducking me, but instead I see mid-card feuds taking away my precious air-time.

Oasis, as far as I know, is still running under the restricted environment. The starter just came out, but typically there is a two week period before they take effect.

And I have to, on principle, back Justin up on this. If the schedule as laid out had Duo's, then it should be Duo's. Not Duo's/BN. [Basically, since Justin objected, then its not a unanimous, and so the tournament should stay as is].

The ATA changes should be out today/tomorrow, so I dont see why this is any more of a problem for the future...
