Hellboy grabs the Huntress with his tail. He breathes directly into her face, "You hurt my mistress. I exist only for her bidding. And you know what she bids me to hurt you. He he he."
"Whaaa--what manner of creature are you? A hound of hell."
"Something like that," he says and with one hard hit takes her down.
As the Alchemist's herbs finally take out the she-wolf Wanda sneaks up upon the Punisher and readies the baubble. She looks up for some rare divine intervention as if to ask for aid to help in this endeavor. She has already taken a beating by this team, she only hopes she can persevere. As an Avenger she can do no less.
One of the rules that hasn't change is that you still can't use CCE with Charge or RCE with Running Shot. Superstrength is fine though, so that's 2 +2 for the HO. (HOs add 2 to close combat damage and they have a straight 3 damage when they're thrown) so its 4 to Huntress. Which leaves her in the game but severely limits her usefulness.
And I also realize that I can't KO Wanda, but if I cut her movement down it makes it harder for her to catch my figures.
Finally, since you're online, I feel compelled to ask before I take my move. Are you sure you want to move Hellboy to J10? I have Moon Knight in I11. One touch and he's gone. (That is how it works right? We don't need to make an attack roll to "tag" an opponent's piece and send them back from whence they came? Or do we?)
OK for now let me change Hellboy's move to a pass so Huntress is unhurt.
And yes, Wanda's movement can be hindered but all she needs it to tag the opponent. She cannot do it in one turn though. First turn she bases the figure, next turn, if she can move, she tags. This gives the opponent, Punisher for example, a chance to run away. In Moon Knight's case since he has willpower, he can sometimes base in one turn and tag in the next without pushing.

Moon Knight dashed out of the bushes and stopped in front of the massive figure of Hellboy.
"I don't suppose you'll believe me," he said quietly, "but it'll really be best off for you to play along and let me send you back where you came from," and then more loudly for all to hear, "Avaunt demon, I shall banish thee back to the fiery pits from whence thou came."
Oh sure you let me off to save Hellboy and you go for him anyway. However Moon Knight can only base him this turn so next time, since he has willpower, he can tag him with no damage.
Move 1: Wanda tags Punisher. He's gone.
Move #2: Strange attacks Scarecrow. Needs 5, rolls 8 (2 4s). 4 clicks damage to him and knockback to J12.
Move #3: Morgan attacks Scarecrow and Torqemada. Goblin perplexes her damage to 3. Needs 6 and 9 respectively, rolls 7. OK damage all goes to Scarecrow then and he's gone.
Move #4: Hellboy attacks Moon Knight (I could try to break away but maybe I can kill the willpower). Needs 6, rolls 9. 4 to Knight. Next turn he can push to attack Hellboy. From now on though he can't push on that last click...

The wind rustling through the corn husks mimics a human squeal. It suits the witches, demons and misfits well. Stephen calls upon these husks and they assault the Scarecrow. Latin verse purses from his intent lips. Ravens swoop down and pull away straw from within the man where no straw existed. The Scarecrow yells.
"Yes, love," Morgana says to her tired husband and lends her mystic might to the attack too. Soon the Scarecrow is running like a frightened child, taunted by birds and winds and cornstalks, pulled to pieces little by little until there is simply no more...
Meanwhile Wanda touches the baubble to the Punisher.
"Know the true power the witches possess, executioners! And fear.." the gypsy witch says.
With the touch Punisher asks, "What in heaven..?" before he is downbarded in colors of deep orange and brown from the baubble. The spread of the colors within the deep, dark night sky frightens even the sorceress, Morgana Le Fey. For a small moment Frank Castle is aware of his surroundings and even of the woman he knows as Scarlet Witch before his body is transported to the 21th century.
Clea appears and whispers, "Good work, Wanda. Both you and Moon Knight must keep it up as best you can. With the Punisher's return we are one step closer to returning the world to its rightful place."
Actually the Punisher succeeded in breaking away. It's Blade that's still adjacent to Wanda. Presumably he's the one you're tagging. I'll go, but if you want to drastically change Wanda's action, say so and we can back up.
Leadership: 5
1. It's worth it to push Moon Knight to tag Hellboy. Gets that beast out of the game. So that'll be my first action.
2. Kraven has direct LoF to Morgan. He'll attack. AV10 on DV10 +2 for ESD +1 for hindering, still needs anything but snake eyes. Gets an 8 and Morgana takes 3 for the KO. Kraven's still stealthed, so Wanda doesn't get to use PC.
3. Huntress attacks the Goblin. AV9 on DV16, needs a 7. Her roll is 10. Wanda can use PC here, so presumably she will. Reroll is a 10 (5+5 this time), Goblin takes 3 and is knocked back to T14.

"I'll do my part," Moon Knight said. He reached out and made contact with Hellboy.
"What th'...? Aw, man," Hellboy said as he too realized the situation. Then in a flash of color, he too was gone.
"What have you done?" Torquemada asked, half in awe and half angry at being deprived of his prey.
"I have dispelled the demon," Moon Knight replied, taking up the act again. "He shall trouble this village no more."
"Well," the inquisistor said, beginning to feel his suspicions about this Moon fellow resurface.
"What shall you do now witch," Kraven asked, "without your pet demon to protect you? I'll tell you. You shall die!" He threw another spear, and Morgan fell. Moon Knight knitted his brows. He wouldn't shed any tears over Morgan le Fay, but he and Wanda needed to end this before more people were hurt or killed. He heard the whizzing of a crossbow bolt and saw Osborn stumble back, clutching a wound in his shoulder.
"I have h-h-heard of you before, Punisher. Y-y-your reputation as a bounty hunter 'gainst witches is well known," the Alchemist says nervously.
"They say I have a taste for witchblood," the Punisher says and he licks his lips, "I will save just enough of you for the Inquisitor to burn." He cocks his rifle.
"Not on my life," the Alchemist screams and using his potions the unconscious she-wolf lunges at him. The rifle falls. He falls into the ground. All the Alchemist can see is a rustle in the corn fields where the Punisher stood. Then, the limp she-wolf is lifted up and toss down. The Punisher stands ripped and bloody.
"You bloody worm of a warlock! You'll not last as long as the she-wolf did when I get to you," grunts the Punisher.
I have to admit both of these games are very fun to write, for very different reasons. There are games when it's hard to come up with another, "The Beast punched Dr. Octopus line." This game and the duel are very challenging to write.
I'm having fun with this as well. I've actually just finished reading 1602. NOt that there are that many parallels, but the whole misplaced in time idea is cool. It's got a lot of potential for other games too.
Judge fire will attack Diablo - real longshot. Av6 on DV16 +1 for hindering - ooh and he actually gets the 11. 1 point to Diablo, but at least running him wasn't a total waste.

"Alchemist," Judge Fire called out, reaching up to remove his helmet. Beneath it was a charred flaming skull, "you hide your sin under the guise of science, but you cannot fool the just. You shall burn for your sins!" He raised his hands and a gout of flame spurted forth to burn the Alchemist. The man cringed in expectation, then after a moment, he relaxed when he realized that the Judge's attack had barely singed him.
"Is that the best you can do?" the Alchemist asked. "Pitiful. I'm certain I could do better!" He began searching through his potions.
