I've beaten the stuffing out of dual Sentinel teams with this. 100 point Sentinels will have a hard time catching Thor when he has an 18 defense, and can hit them for 8 clicks at a time.
I tried to create a competitve team and my comic instincts won't let me do it. I may just sit this one out. Especially since I can't see any team beating the The Norse God of Cheddar 5 or 6 rounds straight.
Vision, I'd suggest trying to work V Green Arrow onto one of the BCF teams.
Incap is the bane of all big point figures. Not outwit, not perplex--incap. Holding a figure in place while you attack it with everything you have is huge.
Maybe drop Black Widow from team 2 and add Spiral to it.
Hmm.. it's an incomplete idea, but since it doesn't look like I'll be able to get out to one, here's something I've been toying around with.
the one big Wizkids event that I went to, they ranked exclusively by points (rather than wins, then points). And most of the teams I'm seeing here are of the 1-heavy-hitter variety. So, with that in mind (pre-retirement)..
Feed The Robot
100pt Sentinel 100 pts
R Johnny Alpha x2 82 pts
R Mandroid 28 pts
R Saturn Girl 44 pts
LE Sarah St John 19 pts
LE Calypso Ezili 22 pts
Jarvis 4 pts = 299 pts
The idea here is that, on your first turn, Saturn girl copies Avengers and carries out one of the Johnny Alphas to midboard. The other Alpha and Mandroid walk up to adjacent positions. Calypso walks to midboard with your last action.
The tricky part comes next- you've got to survive one turn. This part's iffy. You've got Super Senses to help, though, and if you're facing someone other than Thor, you'vegot Stealth to help out.
Next turn, Saturn Girl Perplexes down the big attacker's defense. Mandroid pushes to tk out a Johnny Alpha adjacent to the big attacker. It's probably got a 16 def or so (now a 15). Make it the object of your TA and you only need to roll a 5 to tk it back to your next tker- not a sure thing, but not too bad, either. It should now be viewable by Sarah, who can drop its D by one more to 14 or so (since the attacker hasn't taken damage yet, the original Perplex is still in effect). That means that other Johnny Alpha can also toss it on a 4. R Johnny tosses it to the Sentinel, who probably needs a 5 to capture (because the unit still hasn’t taken damage). With luck, you’ve been able to save Calypso’s reroll for that. Next turn, the Sentinel (who never left the start area) pushes to release.
Anyway, I’m not sure how often it’s going to make it past the opponent’s first attacking turn, but when it does, it’ll be securing a point advantage for your team. Just take your time and always feed the robot rather than directly KOing a piece. You might lose some, but the games you do win will be with a significant point advantage- especially if you’re facing X-men and Brotherhood pieces. Wipe the board just once, and you’re up an extra 300 points on your competition.
Ah, just a thought. In any case, I won’t get a chance to get out there and try it, but people are free to take the idea if they like. Any ideas on how to make the idea more tournament viable?

I know what's on your mind, but it's not what you think it is..
