Anyways, as I said on the othr thread about this, while I LOVE that Impusle has been made, like with Deadpool I'm disapointed with WK's take on the character.

His defense could be lowered to adjust his cost, since Impulse has always been reckless.

His AV should be 1-2 points higher across the board, a 9 AV is a travesty for this character.

He SHOULD have phasing late dial, since he's the DCU's premier phasing speedster, and the charge+Exploit thing makes little sense. If not HSS he should have Phasing or Flurry, nothing else.

The Perplex is nice, but he should carry it on all versions. They say it's to describe his "book smarts", but that's Outwit, not Perplex. V Kid Flash should have Outwit, and RE Impulse should have Perplex, since he's in the same "unpredictable" category as Deadpool.

I support his JLA TA on the E, but the R version should have Titans TA, since he was on the early 90's team that included Kyle Rayner, Supergirl, Damage, and Rose.

Also, he E versions SHOULD have Probability Control, to represent when he could send Speedforce shadows through time at will, rewriting history when necessary. At the very least this should be represented on his LE (he'd better ####ed well get a good LE, they have this, a Batman TA, a Legion TA, and a super high point "master of the universe" varient to work with, it'd better not just be some cop-out with slightly tweaked stats).

Huh. I think from now on instead of saying D### Grayson I'll just type F### Grayson. It comes out the same anyways, and it'll give me a chuckle at least.

Where is the lightning bolt on his chest? Is this just his costume, or do we get his old Impulse costume too?

Huh? As I understand it, PC cannot be used to re-roll a supersenses attempt. They practically always occur on your opponents turn, and you can only PC opponents rolls on his turn not yours.

I mean, did that just change recently and I missed it?

I just realized he was saying you could PC the attack roll to help the chance of "missing" his defense, but the way it is written implies using it with SS so it through me off; lack of sleep and poor wording makes for bad bed partners.

Seriously, ohoni, you have a real annoying attitude when it comes to the speedsters and clix. Just because you like the characters does not mean that they should be made better than everyone else.

Honestly, look at who in DC has an 11 or higher. You want to tell me that Bart (especially a rookie) is a better fighter than Wonder Woman?

At least try to be consistent with your whining. You can't say that the speedsters need faster speeds by comparing them to everyone else and then ignore everyone else when picking an attack value.

He only has a 9 starting AV on his VET! This is a guy who is literally faster than a speeding bullet, one would think that he could hit a target that, to him, is practically standing still. I'm not saying he should have five damage, or even that he deserves 2 damage, but his AV should be higher than a 9, hell, Jesse Quick has a 9 AV.

A 12 AV wouldn't be out of the question, but an 11 AV would be minimal for his Vet's starting click, and a 10 on his RE starting clicks. Impulse has no problems hitting people.

Note that I WAS saying his DV should be LOWERED as well. This isn't about making an uber figure, it's about accurately representing the character's abilities.

No. If you slow him down to her speed level she'd toast him in point sparing, and even at full speed she'd toast him in a real fight because he simply couldn't actually hurt her with his 1 damage, but he could DEFFITELY hit her, a LOT. It just wouldn't hurt her. He's not as skilled, but he's so much faster that he doesn't have to be.

When you can LITERALLY run circles around an opponent, it's not too much to ask that you be able to hit them.

Great looking sculpt. Really, really neat. I just wish that they were actually going to have the original costume for his rookie figure as Impulse; somehow I just don't think changing the colors to white and red will be enough. But as far as his new look goes, very very cool.

Oh, and a 9 AV seems fine to me. He's still just a kid. He may have all the knowledge now, but he's still sorely lacking in the experience department - which can and has gotten him into trouble in the comic.
