they also have LE namor, a "lite" version of him no TA and modified numbers, but same basic powers . they also added the EV versions of lockjaw too, super taxi.
and yeah, the wording on phasing "automatically breakaway" has to be redefined... because if a serpent society TA gets to be copied by a big fig, they automatically breakaway... shakeoff will be interesting to play...
Disbanded - Love the concept of the card, but I know I'll hate when it's played on me. I'm just worried that this will be a great card for the Amazo/V Black Adam teams that are filled with nothing but cheap unaffiliated support figures and Jean Grey, who probably hasn't switched clicks with anyone in a game since Nightcrawler retired. LOL.
Shake off - This is the flipside of Disbanded: a great card to use when facing those Amazo/V Black Adam teams filled with nothing but Jean Grey and cheap support. That's where Lockjaw will run ragged.
Ok I'll admit I was mistaken about the way Phasing works. But at the time i posted the only big/double base fig shown was Lackjaw and his Phase just came to mind.....Maybe I'll get luck and this will be FAQed to where Phase would work with Shake Off.....
Listen to what Crow's telling you, Players. Phasing ignores characters, so there is never any breakaway opportunity when using it. Unless there's a change in the wording when Icons comes out, most likely there will be no entry in the FAQ on this, since the power's text is clear. The power you're looking for to 'abuse' this Feat is Leap/Climb, not Phasing... and it would only really be abusive if used with Armor Piercing.
Not trying to counterpoint the Shake Off debate, but since Phasing ignores characters like you say, how come characters with Phasing are still affected by the Kingdom Come Team ability?
I think that disbanded should have been speified to ignores team abilties unless the team is entirely one team. Thi swould have been perfect to difuse wild cards but still support theme teams. It would also make sense as if all characters were one team there loyalty would be strong enough to overcome this BFC.
Also i thought phasers had to break away anyway some as flyers have to break away even though they ignore effects of characters on movement, could somebody clarify this with a link to the fact/rulebook.
ps. thank god they've got giants with charge/running shot.

This is one ruling that I still don't agree with.
Can't say I'm familiar with such a ruling. Is this one of those things that was posted here but never made it to the FAQ? I would think that P/T's text on the PAC, "Ignore the effects of all characters...", would also mean you ignore any of the figures' TA's.
Shake Off: Not bad, but I don't see it getting much use.
I don't see why you would think that! This works great for all transporters since they can breakaway, do damage, do an attack mid-movement, doing more damage, and then move away....sounds great!
This will work great with plasticity too if we ever get a transporter or giant figure with that power...they even require a breakaway roll so I doubt it'd get faqed...
Heroclix 5th Anniversary: Expect Nothing...you won't be as disappointed that way.

For a transporter to be able to make a HSS-lite attack he has to start not being adjacent to any enemy figures.
It sounds like Shake-off is designed to improve the value of Plasticity and will add a level of strategy to the game: "Do I try and attack or try and break away?"
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
The Wild Sentinal looks like another fun pog piece even though I don't play with them much. Disbanded will be awsome just because it'll make my unaffilated teams more powerful and even my Avengers teams. Most of the time I don't need free moving so it allows me a way of getting rid of the other persons TA. Shake Off isn't real powerful but should be fun to play with. YellowJacket looks really awsome and a ton more useful then Giant-Man was. RS into CH with a lot of damage reduction. Even if he takes a good hit he gains charage again with quake to break up formations.
· Characters using Phasing / Teleport automatically break away.
Yeah, I was going to point out the same thing. Phasing IS FAQed to specify that Phasing characters "automatically break away."
Simply saying that a character ignores the effect of opposing characters on movement doesn't mean they automatically break away; for instance, the rules state that hovering characters' movement aren't affected by opposing characters, but they still have to make break away rolls.
