Man, Northstar is positively charmed. He should have been down ages ago. Well, let's see if I can save his lucky butt.

Captain America on Wolverine. AV10 on DV14. Gets 9. 2 to Wolverine after Toughness.

Iron Man Running Shot to I2 to attack Wolverine. AV10 on DV13. He gets 10. 3 more to Wolvie.

Northstar will try to add insult and finish Wolverine off himself. AV7 on DV11, with 2 tries. Gets an 8 the first time. 1 more to Wolverine and he's out.

"Northstar's in trouble, Avengers!" Captain America called out. "Let's give him a hand!" Leading by example as always, Cap tossed his shield. It struck Wolverine in the side. If not for his adamantium skeleton, it would have shattered ribs. It still hurt. A lot. "Pour it on Avengers!" Cap advised. "If this doppelganger is like the real Wolverine, we're going to have to put him under far enough that even with his healing factor he'll stay down."

"One big helping of pouring, coming up," Iron Man said flying to the guard rail of the bridge. From there he used a good portion of his batteries in a sustained repulsor barrage. By the time he was forced to let up, Wolverine's uniform was in tatters, his skin red and blistered, most of his hair burned off.

"Oh, let me," Northstar insisted. He peppered the X-Man with a series of rapid-fire punches. Finally, even Wolverine could take the punishment no longer and fell.

"Marvel Girl," Captain America shouted. "Do you surrender."

"I'm an X-Man," she said. "We don't surrender."

"Then I'm sorry we have to do this." Captain America leapt onto the Black Knight's steed. Dane Whitman charged at Marvel Girl but she bumped his vehicle violently aside. Marvel Girl raised a TK shield to block another attack from Songbird's quarter.

"You can't keep this up forever against all of us you know," Cap said. "I'd prefer not to have to hurt you if we don't have to..."

Wow, I was really hoping to snag Northstar with either Wolvie or Jean...

I think we have to be realistic here...even now I don't think Jean can take Northstar (especially with Cap basing her).

How bout I take your team #1?.

That'll be the Superman Enemies.

I'll go with #4 myself.

So the Avengers totally shut out the Ultimate X-Men. Glad to see my team make it all the way but the UltX's shoulda done better.
