I'm surprised that nobody has commented on that AV spike on MACH-3 yet, I really liked that one.
However, I'm in doubt with that MACH-4. for 9 points more one can use Exp. War Machine, which in my opinion outperforms the MACH. Also, for 35pt, R beetle seems pretty nice.
Oooh, look. Defenders Nighthawk and special objects are up!
I know the power gamers will be thrilled, but we now have the growing club of figures who should not have Probability Control.
Beetle
Elongated Man (Broken like Firelord. LOL!)
Batman
Blockbuster
PC is incredibly powerful, and should only be on figs with true justfication. Such as Hourman who actually messes with time. If they need PC, why not finally make a new Black Cat?
I can see Beetle with Super Senses or maybe even Perplex, but he shouldn't be affecting the outcome of other fights clear across the map. There's no precedent for this in his comic's career.
As for agents (and SHIELD has made me love this set no matter what), everyone should remember that all the old SHIELD and Hydra agents have been retired a long long time. Which stunk for some players who had judges enforcing that. Plus we finally have a jet pack SHIELD agent. So now I don't have to repaint a bunch of Sentinel Troopers. LOL! Hydra even still has a limited medic.
REV agents over Pogs any day of the week. The only great crime of Fantastic Forces (my favorite set) was Colleen Wing and Misty Knight being shafted as Pogs. There should have been REV's of Cyborg Cop and Samurai Warrior to give the girls LE's with their names.
I still would have done Beetle as R & E Beetle and V & LE Mach. For his fans, they could have made Mach the coolest LE they could ever get. Using the different sculpt for Mach on the V & LE of course.
Waiting for a new Moon Knight. Just because he's Marvel's greatest hero, and I'd like to see another take on him.
While I can see the arguments for and against Probability Control on certain figures, from a game balance perspective I'll say the following: If The Powers that Be are not going to cut the range on Probability Control to six, I personally hope we never get flooded with low cost PC-ers (Destiny, Black Cat, Scarlet Witch) again.
Oh I'll gladly pay 50 points for a more combat effective Black Cat.
I'm just saying let's keep the powers on the figures more truly representative of their comic book origins. Not just throw stuff on someone just to make them different from other figures.
If they took all the Elongated Man's and Plastic Man's and swapped the sculpts, I wouldn't complain. Because Plas is crazy powerful and random. Ralph just stetches.
I'm a huge fan of comic based theme teams. Otherwise we might as well just play some other war or fantasy game.
Meanwhile, they cheat The Invisible Woman of Telekinesis. LOL!

Yeah...that was just mean....she just hurls people and objects into battle all the time...yeah that's not TK...pshh...It would be great if we got a new combat-oriented Invisible Woman...she's the most powerful member of the Fantastic Four and no one really tries to argue it...we need a figure that shows that.
Heroclix 5th Anniversary: Expect Nothing...you won't be as disappointed that way.

I agree !
not just a cheap 17/18 defend fig but a really great Invisible woman, so for 400 points you can get a really great FF4.

The 80-point vet from Clobberin' Time has long been a favorite figure of mine. Ever since th introduction of the alt-F4 TA, she has been the first member placed on all 300+ point F4 teams.

I LOVE the old V Invisible Woman from a defensive standpoint...she has the combat defensive abiltiies she should have...what she lacks though is much attack ability at all...Nobody wants to go into a fight against the Invisible Woman...not just because she is so hard to damage but because she bring the pain!!
