Knockdown is sweet. my combo would be:
E star spangle kid + stuning blow + knockdown.
Add to that an outsider (katana or V arsenal) to use the outsider team on that target and the +2 modifier is gone. SWEEEEEEEEETTTTT!!!!!!!
Not just Battle Fury, it can be used for Willpower too. That's probably what I'll use it on the most, if I were to use it.
I understand that, but why have the combination on the card. Most of my favorite WP pieces have stealth, so they can't be attacked at range awyway. I just wish that they would have done something more effective to help BF. It needs it.

So with both Stunning Blow, and Knockdown, your first incap would do your base damage and give the token, the second attack would be at a +2 DV for the defender, but you wouldn't do any damage from Stunning Blow because the second attack isn't technically an Incapacitate attack. The card grants an attack that acts like Incap, but is not from the actual power.
Also note that if you push to use Incapacitate on the first attack, you would take your push click (barring Willpower) before making the second roll.
You're kidding right? At least the CM one was in a decent pose, even if the sculpt was a little sloppy. This new one is horrible. Love the dials, but I think I'll be looking for a new figure to put on the base. I'll pass on the "Lord of the Pants" look...
Same with Speed Demon. Great dials, nice change from the typical super-speedster, not to mention being really efficient for the point cost. Most of the other HSS figs lose their usefulness after the first click anyway, so why not play a cheaper one with some neat late-dial options? Unfortunately he too has a crappy sculpt. Looks like something out of Infinity Challenge.
I've got to back GG on this one. That old Kraven had my vote for worst sculpt of all time. It looks like a lump of plastic left in the sun too long. I tried to fix it, but there isn't much I can do with it. I'm in the middle of a Mod using Doc Samson's legs, arms, head and putting in kraven's lion chest and seeing how that turns out
May wait to see this one in person. I lIke the detail on the vest better :D
Speed Demon got screwed on a sculpt though. I've been seeing mods using both flashes and quicksilvers that turned out better than this sculpt. He has more of a "power walking" thing going ont there.
Kraven. Meh. He's been done, and the old version was fine. The only thing I don't get is why does this joker get two starting 10 AVs when so many others were stiffed?
Whizzer, why Plasticity? I assume it's so he can break away easier, but if so, why not L/C? Can he not run up walls? Can he not run across water? Speedsters totally deserve L/C on any click without HSS, Charge, Flurry, or Phasing (where applicable). the higher versions present some interesting options though. The Vet seems like he'll be quite strong, especially Thunderbolted (and it's even thematic!).
Knockdown is really cool. It seems that they're working to make Close Combat more worth attempting in this set, by coming up with a bunch of feats that specify Close Combat to use them.
Indominable is interesting, but it's basically just hedging your bets, since if you have either of the pre-reqs you're already immune to at least one of those effects. It'd be worth using on some characters though, especially if they have gratuitous BF on their dial.

Still trying to figure out why people think Speed demon is faster then Quicksilver. Quicksilver can run from america to europe in 5 mnutes. Speed Demon can't even come close to doing that. Sure his Speed Demon should be higher, over the course of his dial, with little more HSS. He is FAR FAR from a bad rep of him. Its not superman.
Speed Demon is faster than Quicksilver. Quicksilver (according to Quicksilver) tops out at 200-odd mph. Still, neither of them is fast enough to deserve more than 11+HSS, if that.
Hulk w/BF + Indominable + Fortitude = a much tougher hulk.
I'm glad they made this new feat, though I still haven't seen a truely usable hulk yet, it does make him a bit better. It also helps out E Juggernaut a bit.
Willpower definately gets some nice benifits as well, so for 5 pts. I'd probably drop it on some WP guys. I see the BF bonus being the greater in the long run due to big BF bricks being Incap. targets very often.
"Come on Hulk! Where's the old boasting? The battle cries? Why aren't you bellowing about how you're 'the strongest one there is'? Could it be because... you know it's not true?"
"No. Because it's just too obvious."
-Juggernaut to Hulk
I really like what Seth was trying to do with Speed Demon, trying some new combinations for speedsters.
However, every single other speedster they've made has had consistent speed values since that's pretty much their whole thing. Most never fall below double digits and those that do have consistently high movement before that. Rookie Hypertime Flash drops to 4 but that's after 5 clicks of 10 move.
I just think a lot less people would be complaining if he was 20 or so more points and had an extra click of HSS with some higher speed values. He could've been very cool with some high movement charging Incap, which is perfect for a speedster (tying people with a rope at superspeed, anyone?).

I actually really like this, since nobody should be able to get away from a speedster, and it's something that happens in comics alot. You turn to run away from the guy and he's already on the other side of you. And even with HSS he doesn't have the running up walls ability.
Of course, depending on your POV, the New Nick Fury could always substitute between your Armed Forces or your Police needs.
Clobberin' Time Fury pokes out his other eye as the agents in newly-issued, pastel-colored uniforms dance on the flight deck of the SHIELD Helicarrier to "In The Navy" blaring over the loudspeakers.
I can't see how R Whizzer is bad. AFAIK, there aren't any 36-or-less-pointers HSS'ers that can do 2 damage on their first click. Have an SinSyn member next to a character, Whizzer can come by side, replace his AV with the SinSyn member's AV and make an attack with reasonable AV and 2 damage.
I can't see Kraven being that powerful or popular of a character but he sure has gotten good treatment in Heroclix. The Critical Mass REV Kraven and the Unique Serei Kravinv were all good to very good pieces. That outwit with incapacitate in stealth can be brutal against tentpole teams and I've benn flummoxed by that combination on that figure before.
Here comes the Sinister variants of the same figure and lo and behold every one of these Kravens are good and the V looks to be a real challenge to play against, especially with feats. How did Kraven arrange for such good treatment?

He singl handedly defeated Spider-Man. That's what he f'n did to get 10 AVs.
Kraven is okay. Not a major step up or even that different from the CM version though.
Speed Demon is a waste of time. The worst speedster since LE Jesse Chambers. I'll get the E simply for Syndicate theme teams... if I get really drunk I might get the V for Tunderbolts teams instead of subbing the radically better E AW Quicksilver for him. Hell, just get an extra E Quicksilver, cut the fig off the base and glue a Speed Demon on it.
Vet. Kraven has thesame starting click, BUT for 1 whole measly point more this version is usable throughout his WHOLE dial !!
10 AV sharing for my SS6 !! Oh Yeah !!
he seems a little undercosted (or in this case the older Kraven was WAY overcosted and top-heavy and that Vet didn't have SS TA) to me...
Speed Demon/Whizzer, yeah I would have liked a 10 movement on him though and why only 1 click of HSS ? the Rookie looks great !
I think the plasticity makes him better then the EXp.
I haven't read the whole thread, but does anyone else here think that Kraven looks like "The Rock"! Do you SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL what the Kraven's cookin'?
it’s kinda sad that the most dominant figures in this game are hookers, medics, and dogs…..
