I'm in, if they'll have me (I.E. = My character doesn't suck)
BTW - how will perplex work in this game? I know that enhancement will be for anyone adjacent when they make a ranged attack, but how about if I make my move at 9:30 in the morning, and the other character moves at 7 at night?

Sounds fair to me, and I guess I'll be going with Daybreak myself then, two earth-themed heroes would be a bit much
By the way, does our team have an "official" name, or do we get to make one up ourselves?
Once you have your team together you choose a team name. The story is you were a team in your own world, so you are not given one by your unamed benefactor.

Thats why you have to strategize as a team. Before you make your moves you should be talking and decide how the whole move should go if possible. There are even some cases where the whole team will not be able to participate in a mission and you will have to decide which team members participate.
The idea if it hasn;t been clear enough is that yes you are technically each controlling a character, but for all intensive purposes, all 6 of you are controlling 1 team. Remember this is not a game in which you are trying to "Win" It is to have fun, so there should be no need to worry about your character getting preference over another, or someone else leveling up more than you. You should want everyone on the team to do well and level up so the TEAM grows.
Thats what makes the RPG different than any other.

Ah, I see, now - we have our ideas as to what we want to do, but we submit our moves at once after discussing.

Oh, since I'm playing Daybreak, it suddenly struck me that I should probably ask how leadership is going to work?
Good question. For now, its really not useful at all, but, there will be things that you will collect that you will need leadership to use. Since its not an expensive power anyway I wouldn't worry about it in the beginning.
Ok guys, GL4Life made a wise decision! (as always, being him the omniscent and omnipotent clixmaster! )
Deeply in your heart you know that Lightweight is the one for you! Being a streetwise Captain America is cool, and so is to be a rock friendly hillbilly ( ) or a wizkid from the future (no reference to our beloved clixmakers), but the team is lacking some serious superhero mojo, some dashing through the sky, grabbing a soda machine and smacking the evil with it!
Lettin' my stupid blabbing apart, hope you chose my charachter to fit in the team, it's a long time I want to try the custom clix rpg and never had the possibility... i'll start crossing my fingers!
Waiting for you decision!
Hail2U!

I make no promises about the overall power of my character. I do, however, pledge to be more fun to read, and to add a different type of personality dynamic that is otherwise lacking from the team.
Nothing personal boys .... especially since your guys could pretty much all kill mine

Justin Avery grew to accept his normality, as his father was none other Lieutenant Liberty one of the founding member of the Seven. Justin knew that his fathers boots would be far to big fill as he had once entertained the idea of a cape and a utility belt. With his father wanting him to pursue the normal life that he never had Justin decided to be a police officer.
Having grown up with super heroes all his life he became quite good at what he did and quickly rose thru the ranks to became a detective. All seemed well until that fateful September morning. Detective Avery was investigating a homicide in the subways beneath a towering skyscraper.
The walls echoed with explosions many stories up. Chaos ensued as people panicked rushing to get out. Justin fought the urge to leave but decided it was his place to get everybody to safety. A smile briefly crossed his lips as the last person disappeared from view to safety.
Unaware that his son was in danger in the sublevels of the skyscraper Lt. Liberty attempted to use his superhuman brawn and try to fortify the base of the building to prevent it from collapsing. The already weakened structure collapsed inward crushing his only son.
Upon learning that he could've saved his son, Liberty was emotionally distraught. His grief got the better the better of him and the public learned of his lose. An older well dressed man approached him at the funeral and informed him that he could speak with the dead. Liberty jumped at the chance to apologize to his son and to hear his voice again.
After his sixth visit the older gentleman informed him that he could bring Justin back from the dead but it would require rare and precious artifacts. Liberty jumped at the chance!Nothing stopped Liberty as he broke many laws and became a wanted man. The ritual was nearing its climax as the elderly man informed him that there was just one last thing he needed and that was..............his life. Before even pondering the thought an adamantine dirk pierced his heart. His last moments were of his arch nemesis Dr. Death laughing heartily as he was able to ruin Liberties reputation and take his life. "Now to toy with the boy" Death thought..........

Well, Lightweight is pretty new in the world of superheroes (let's assume he got his powers like six months ago) and he's still very excited about this new thing. He his probably the newbye of the squad so he wants to show he deserves his place, thing that leads him face first into lots of dangerous situations. However, his months as a solo urban hero allowed him to understand that he is such a glassjaw and sometimes thinking first is useful. He's lighthearted and always faces the worst with a smile, respects the experience of more seasoned heroes but sometimes he thinks they're "too dark".
Everyday he learns something new about his powers and he is sure of controlling just a small part of his real potential. Every new thing he discovers about his powers make him more and more excited.
Here it is, now you have a full view of what Lightweight should be. Up to you to chose!
