Sorry for the delay -- this is the first time I've been able to sit uninterrupted for long enough to post since I moved last. Stupid back-to-back shifts...
Okay, so I hope you aren't particularly hungry, 'cause doing a quick calculation, if everything goes well, I can do exactly 8 clicks damage this round. Sinister has 8 clicks remaining. Of course, that does not account for his toughness, so in order to take him out, we will not only have to make every single shape change roll, but we'll also need to make 2, count 'em, TWO critical hits. That's TWO outa three attacks, folks! So, as I said, I'd plan on dinner somewhere else. Besides, looking at my own Sinister standing there surrounded by Sinister Six members ( ), he doesn't look particularly nutritious...
Now, having said all that, I will enclose this caveat -- I've done similarly amazing feats in gaming before. Just ask RobotCowboy...
Sinister Six Turn 15 (Last Turn):
1) "Okay pal, though your wrestling moves ARE a bit funny, you've gone and frosted me now." Sandman tries to punch Mr. Sinister into next week. Shape change roll is -- 3. Sandman punches Mr. Sinister. 10 AV (8 + 2 for BFC) vs 16 DV, needs a 6. Roll is (4, 1), misses.
Ha! And that was the easy one! Oh well...
2) "Hey, isn't this car engine yours? No? Well have a closer look just to be sure." Doc Ock tries to throw the engine block at Mr. Sinister. Shape Change roll is -- 2. 7 AV vs 16 DV, needs a 9. Roll is (2, 3), misses. Engine block is destroyed. Doc Ock takes 1 click for the push.
Well, since that all failed miserably, lets go for the REAL hail mary...
3) "Okay boys, stand back. I got 'em." Electro fries Mr. Sinister. Shape change roll is -- 6. Nope. Ah well.

Couldn't you at least have hit Sinister onto his outwit click, then maybe he could have got himself one more SA against Sandman? Marauders Turn 15 (Last Turn):
1) Still laughing at the Six' futile attempts to harm him, Sinister makes one final grap at Sandman. Anything but a crit miss will hit, anything but a crit hit will do nothing. Roll is: (2,3) a 5. Once again, Sandman merely reshapes himself around Sinister's fist. Sinister takes one from the push.
"Enough of this folly. Every second I spend here in the company of you primates drag me further down the evolutionary ladder, I shall take my leave, and take my worthless servants with me, before you attempt to fling your feces at me!
But know this, Mr. Sinister does NOT forget, soon the day shall come where genetic refuse such as you learns to rue the day they dared stand in the path of their betters!"
A blinding, deep-red light flashes from Sinister's diamond, blinding the Sinister Six completely. As the light fades away and their sight returns, no trace can be found of either Sinister or his Marauders...

Hey Melkhor, thanks for a great game. I really enjoyed it. Sorry it was mostly so one-sided, you had some bad luck in there in spots (says the guy who rolled three critical misses... ). Anyway, I had a great time. I look forward to a rematch.
I'll be posting a recap story when I get some serious uninterrupted time, tonight I hope. And after that I'll probably post my 2nd game team too.
It was a great game, and I didn't mind the one-sided ending. I'm still fairly happy with how the team performed. If only Blockbuster had hit kraven with his initial charge...
I'll post my team for the next match as soon as I've decided wether or not Scalphunter should lead the team on their next outing

From the ashes of Paragon City... it rises!
A short, non-descript man wearing a thick, bulky trench coat steps onto the street from a side door to a run-down warehouse. He glances about briefly and then strolls down the street, ducking his face into the stiff breeze blowing in from the sea. The sky is dark, choked with clouds and ocassionally rumbling with far-off thunder.
The streets are mostly empty, with those few people in evidence skuttling about in haste. Still, the man plods ahead, seemingly in no hurry. After nearly thirty minutes of such plodding, with seventeen city blocks behind him, the man reaches a small street corner. The street signs are missing and the little red Don't Walk man is permanently walking on the closest post. Somewhere close by, a dog is barking, loudly.
The man steps to the wall of the building overlooking the corner, and peers into the newspaper dispensor there. The Daily Bugle. The headline reads:
SOMETHING SINISTER IN UPSTATE NEW YORK?
MAURADERS FOILED IN ATTEMPT TO STEAL RED DIAMOND FROM EUGENE ESTATE
Octatius smiles to himself.
Scanning the page, he spots a lesser byline.
STAWBERRY-KIWI OR PINACOLADA?
ELECTRO SPOTTED AT SEVEN ELEVEN IN UPSTATE NEW YORK,
CASHIER CONFIRMS HE BLASTED SLURPY MACHINE
The Sinister Six are above the pre-season, so I'm sending the guys on vacation until the season starts. All except Electro -- that punk didn't do squat in this last game! So, behold the scrubs who'll be handling the second pre-season game in our stead:
