It is down to the wire. But I don't think I can take Drake down unless you miss a couple of easy shots. Have to wait till I get home to do my turn. Here are some of the backlog descriptive posts though.
Turn 5
A battle of wills ensued between the two Mistresses. Magnetism vs. Mind. And this time the mind won. The Mistress of Magnetism got a glassy look in her eyes and the Mind Mistress tossed her into the fray. The strain of the contest took its toll and when the Mistress of Magnetism flung a chunk of debris at Wildfire it was a hair too slow and he managed to dodge out of the way.
Bird Boy swooped down in a power dive straight for the purple and black LEGIONaire. At the last instant the Cosmic Boy sensed something and looked up. The shocked look on his face didn’t stop him from dodging Bird boy but it was a close thing. Bird boy gave a squawk of frustration and continued his dive past Cosmic boy, carried by his own momentum.
Turn 6
Cosmic boy saw Kid Quantum drift into range while blasting at his team mates. He leveled his fists at him and the power cosmic danced between them. He kicked on his backpack jet and let lose. The blast flashed out toward the unsuspecting LEGIONaire. It wasn’t a square hit but it severely damaged him. “Oh Yeeaaahhhh!” From inside his mind came ‘Nice shot. Lets see if we can get you to a place where you can do that to Wildfire.” He turned around to see Icicle bringing up Mind Mistress on an ice sleigh. Icicle was starting to look a bit tired from pulling the sled and gratefully stopped when he was next to Cosmic boy.
Lowfur saw Wildfire casually backhand Master Blaster into unconsciousness and felt the beast within stir and take over. “RRROOOOUUUGGGGHHHH!!!” He launched himself in a furious but ineffectual assault on the LEGIONaire.
Turn 7.
The Mistress of Magnetism still under the influence of the Mind Mistress lobbed another chunk of debris at Wildfire. He easily dodged this one and started laughing at her. “No wonder you didn’t make it into the LEGION. You can’t hit the broad side of a planet with a moon beam!”
Bird boy looked over his shoulder and saw his adversary speeding away. He continued is flight away and started skulking through the debris to come back to where the LEGIONaire was heading.

Pretty Easy. Mind Mistress sees the writing on the wall and runs (floats?) like hell.

2. Wildfire will take attempt to knockout (capture) MM. Actually I thought I could base her with Wildfire, but it looks like I can't, so she gets her ESD still. So it would actually be AV 8 vs DV 18 for the capture and 14 for a regular knockout. But luckily the dice gods were with me even through my mistake. Still a capture. Yay!

That was a great game, ALC. I totally thought I wasn't gonna win that one. But the dice gods did seem to be with me this game.
You forgot to post the result of the dice roll. Another 11! :P Well at least I gave you a good battle. Great game! Those misses on Drake, and the one on Cosmic Boy by Bird boy in the middle of the game really hurt me. If I hadn't got a couple of late lucky hits you would have mopped the floor with me. That is the way of the dice though! I had a great time. I will post the rest of the write ups when I get a chance. Should be good.

Oh yeah..if you connected with all your hits, I definitely would've lost no question about it...but luckily you missed and kept my big hitter in the game... He got some good IAP...still not enough to level him up to his Vet...but it'll be close too bad it's always so hard to level up everyone else...they always get KO'ed so early...anyways...yeah thanks for a great game!
Here are the back descriptions. Sorry it was so late in comming.
Turn 8
Icicle saw a LEGIONaire in the middle of the firefight, blazing away. But remarkably he hadn’t noticed Icicle and Mind Mistress coming up. He lined up and got ready to blast Kid Quantum when Mind Mistress yelled in his head. ‘What are you doing?’ His shot went awry and he gritted his teeth. “I would think it was obvious. I was getting ready to make a corpsicle of a Kid Quantum over there.” ‘We are support, let the others do the direct fighting.’ Nag, nag, nag he didn’t care that she was probably reading his thoughs.
Mind Mistress turned her thoughts to other matters. She grabbed Cosmic boy and hurled him closer to Wildfire. “Hey! I am not a brick to be pushed around!” ‘No you are a shooter so SHOOT!’ Cosmic boy turned to fire on the agile LEGIONaire and let loose with another shot that narrowly missed.
Turn 9
Bird boy swooped down through the debris and hit Cosmic boy with both hands to the gut. Cosmic boy doubled over and went flying backward. His spiraling form hit Wildfire who took a moment to steady Cosmic boy before turning his attention back to the firefight.
The shock of the explosion loosened Mind Mistress’s control. And the Mistress of Magnetism recovered and threw a massive chunk of metal at Wildfire. Kid Quantum saw the massive missile but Drake didn’t because he was tangled up with Cosmic boy. Kid Quantum blazed over to Wildfire and shoved him out of the way. They almost cleared the missile but an reinforcing bar hanging out of one side clocked Kid Quantum’s helmet and knocked him out cold.
Turn 10
Power boy, Icicle, the Mistress of Magnetism and Mind Mistress regrouped on one side of an almost disintegrated warship. “I think we are in a bit of trouble here.” Voiced Icicle for everyone. “No shaving cream Sherlock. We just can’t seem to tag that Wildfire.”
Turn 11
Icicle saw the barrage from Wildfire coming before the others. He formed a big wall of ice and pored everything into the wall. Cosmic boy and Mind Mistress were the best covered but the wall disintegrated and shards went everywhere. A large chunk of ice grew bigger and then all was darkness for Icicle.
The Mistress of Magnetism finally spotted another LEGIONaire skulking about. She concentrated and the chunk of starship he was hiding behind abruptly opened up and enclosed him in a mesh of cables, girders, and hull plating. “That’s two down. Anybody else manage to tag one yet?” Mind Mistress’s teeth were grinding.
Turn 12
Blasts flew around the huddled remaining members of the LEGION of Super Villains. The Mistress of Magnetism grabbed a huge chunk of starship hull that Cosmic Boy hurled at her and used it to block Wildfire’s shots at her. Cosmic boy was not so lucky and received the brunt of the follow up fire. He grunted and doubled up in pain. Then another blast took him out.
Mind Mistress yelled “We have to take him out!” The Mistress of Magnetism returned, “Get me over there.” Mind Mistress strained and pushed The Mistress of Magnetism forward while she was holding the hull plate ahead of her. When they were in motion towards Wildfire MoM made a grand pushing gesture with her hand. The hull plate flung away from her and caught Wildfire by surprise. The hull plate smashed into him and knocked the wind out of him.
Turn 13
Unfortunately the hull plate was giving cover to the mistresses. When Wildfire climbed around to the top of the plate he launched himself at them and blasted the Mistress of Magnetism. He blasted her and continued on. The Mind Mistress realized that the battle was lost. “I had better report this defeat to headquarters.” She leaped behind a chunk of starship. Wildfire saw where she went though and signaled Cosmic boy. Cosmic boy sent him flying after her. Wildfire blasted the debris in front of her. “Stop, put up your hands and surrender. If I feel you probing my mind I will blast you. Up to you.” Mind Mistress realized she was not going to get away and put up her hands.

The battle raged on in the debris-strewn orbit of Kharida. Each side was being devastated, with the Legion managing to maintain a narrow advantage. Surprise, it seemed, was on their side. All around them, explosions rocked space, blossoming into plumes of silent flame before being instantly extinguished by the vacuum. No sound could be heard by the young combatants as they waged their hidden war; white-hot blasts from Wildfire flashed soundlessly through the void; bright red bursts from Master Blaster went unheard before smashing into the back of an unwary Legionnaire. All the while, the only sounds they heard were the commands of their fellow fighters and labored breathing as their exhaustion grew. Combat in the inky blackness of space was as unnerving an experience as any Cosmic Boy could imagine, and he’d seen more than his share.
He wished, suddenly, that it hadn’t come to this; that, somehow, the Legion had been structured as more of a diplomatic force - proving that underagers were capable beings through example, not through harassment. Saturn Girl had proposed such an idea, but the twin lightning bolts of Garth and Mekt and his own youthful exuberance and an axe to grind had led them away from that. Now it was war - not fighting, not a clash of ideals; this was war. And it was his own inability to see the value of peaceful protest that had brought them here. What right did he have to leadership if this is where he led?
As he watched his team flagging, watched them shot and brutalized, explosions rocking them and shrapnel lancing their bodies, he knew he had to change. He’d been young and stupid - just what the adults had assumed he was - and he, in his haste for, what? Revenge? Was this the price for proving yourself to a world? Was it worth it?
He blasted another enemy. The boy leapt at him, long claws bared and fanged maw wide. One slash nearly eviscerated the dark-haired Braalian. He kicked backward, sending the feral teen spiraling away a short distance before he regained control. Before he could finish his charge, Cosmic Boy drew two large plates of durasteel together to smash the kid like a pair of cymbals. He was no older than Rokk, and probably a year or so younger. He flew past the now-unconscious wolf-boy to return to the core of the battle. If he couldn’t keep this war from happening, he could at least take the lead for his team. And when it was over - if, Gods allow, they survived and won… change had to come. The Legion could not continue this way.
The Legion of Super Villains believed they were taking the spirit of the Legion to its logical conclusion. That they were fulfilling the promise Rokk, Imra, Garth and Mekt had made to underagers not that long ago. All they had done was remind Cosmic Boy of what that promise really was, and how far they had fallen from it.
“Please let me live,” he whispered to himself as he began manipulating the field of battle magnetically to preserve lives and reduce the possibility of explosive decompression. “Let me live, and I’ll make it right. We weren’t meant for this… Imra, I’m sorry-- let me live and I’ll be better. I swear it-- I’ll be better…”
The war continued its brutal course silently, and Rokk Krinn prayed.
