Actually, Farve doesn't suck. His team does. Check his stats. They're not as bad as one would expect.
Look to see Farve on the Cowboys next year since this will be Drew's last year playing football. With Farve's skills and the Dallas offensive talent that is now present he will take them to The Show next year easily.

I wouldn't say his team sucks, so much as I would say that Favre is surrounded by 25 year old noobs who don't know what the hell they're doing.
It seems that the Packers continually adopt the theory of signing on young talent through draft picks, without realizing that you need a few vets on your team to provide some leadership and mentorship.
Even Favre has said that the kids don't listen to him worth a damn, and it's frustrating for him as a result. They got the talent, they're just too young and stupid.

Favre will retire a Packer. He was debating it before the season started and he'll no doubt do it after the debacle that this season will become.
Which is sad in a lot of ways because he's shown he's still got the chops, but he just looks bad because the Packers front office doesn't seem to get that you've actually got to have:
a) someone on the offensive line to let Favre have time to throw, and
b) then someone capable of catching a pass from him, and
c) at least a hint of a running game to give him some options.

I wouldn't say he looks bad. Even the horribly vicious press is constantly saying "Poor Brett Favre."
Did you hear about how he heard a guy on the radio in the offseason tell him not to quit, so he came back?
Big name on the radio, can't think of his name for whatever reason, but he should be taken out behind the woodshed for that. Let Brett retire with some friggin' dignity....

That's funny the way I heard it was Brett was undecided and let his family decide. They put it to a vote and everybody told him to play.
Catering to the lowest common denominator since Feb 2003.

That's the story I'm believing, but they were playing up and toting around a story last night about how it was all because a radio voice told him that if he wasn't playing football, what the hell else would he be doing?
