The Action Comics #1 pose wouldn't work on a HeroClix figure. First, like Glen mentioned, it would be too top heavy. Maybe if it were a Double Base figure. Then still, all you would see while playing a game would be a car. The only good point of view for the figure would be at the side.
Though, to me, it looks like a flash with a little more plastic, it may be the best pose for that type of Superman figure. Now if he were an REV, the Vet could be flying, and they could have got away with the Superman #1 pose.
I really was hoping for that pose. WITHOUT the car.
If Supes got the Action Comics #1 pose, I would argue that he ALWAYS has a heavy object to bash you with.

So here I go adding to Kaitouace's sig again, but he hit the nail on the head. FOOM is very playable.
It seems like it'd be more cost efficent to give someone a natural 9Av, then to add perplex.
Also, just looking at a figure that has a lower Av then Eddie Fyers, Detective Chimp and Oberon is just a tad disheartning.
Plus many generics.
So far, WK seems to be going about this Beetle thing all wrong. He's a new character received rather lukewarmly, they put him on the booster art, and they have him showcased in this Wizard spot. The latter may have been Wizard's choosing, but surely WK could have directed which figures to use for it (i.e. "Don't use the fig with the cruddy 8 AV!!!").
All well and good if an 8 AV is accurate for the guy (if he costs less than 40 points), but don't make him the grand marshal of the Origin parade.
Not quite. I just don't agree with the "complete lack of any info" stance that Tuttle and crew have taken. They've effectively turned a blind eye and deaf ear towards their player community.
It is probably and Activation click for the Scarab Armor to appear. Inquest only shows the stats on the first click which they probably think is the figures best stats. Sometimes the person writing the article has the brain for a little so they post the second click knowing it is an activation click. The person who wrote this probably didn't have access to the brain at that point in time.
I don't think its an "activation" click, especially if he has 3 damage. You are probably right that its his first click.
it would be nice to have a heroclix msg board where people could speak their mind without reprisal.
btw did anyone notice fate is listed as an LE not a unique? could he be a zombie style chase figure....are there going to be zombie level chase figures?

Here is Boneyard's guess on chase figures. Down at the bottom of the 1st post...
