Here is another name to throw into the hat for Ronin: The MASTER of Kung Fu! i forget his actual name right now but he has had dealings with Daredevil before and is supposed to be trained very well in martial arts including wepons like a katana.

Aside from that you really have to ask yourself this: Bendis changed the charater once, what makes you think that he will not do so again. It is going to be someone that nobody expects like Howard the Duck.

Midnight Sun had his neck broken and was killed by Shang Chi (Master Of Kung Fu)... but he got better (not to mentioned "enhanced" by the Kree) over in the Silver Surfer comicbook back in the early 90's, and was last seen living on the moon with the Inhumans.

That is why they are called the NEW AVENGERS. I think people need to give this team a chance. I think these guys will be awesome. I'm not picking a fight just saying what I believe, it would be different if they were calling this book the Avengers. Think of them like the West Coast Avengers or the new hip team. Thats how I look at them, I could see Captain America blessing this team because there are a few standup guys on this team.

Most likely not Shang Chi. He's currently a regular in the new Heroes for Hire comic with Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, Black Cat, and others.

Interesting. I wonder if it was an intentional mistake. Matt would know Echo and know that she's deaf. Clint or someone else might not think to lift his mask.

For those that don't like this line up...does no one remember the line up with Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman and Gilgamesh? Now that...that was a stinker. This new split reminds me more of when there was West Coast Avengers in addition to the original team. Drastic team changes and splitting the teams is nothing new for the Avengers.

Re: Ronin...whoever it is now...I get the impression it will become a rotating character, it could be someone different from storyline to storyline, whenver a character needs a break, they can be Ronin for a little while or something like that. I do like the Deadpool guess...

the new Avengers change was too much. this New new Avengers is behing too much. I repeit. they can be a good team but they are not the Avengers.

and what is a way to fight of Lucke Cage versus Elektra. that is what a comic book show to the kids? how to be a gentleman with a lady?? I bet he can't wait in a fair fight versus Elektra. the next time Elektra will made sure what he can bever have a chindlren again.

What if all of a sudden Marvel decided to take these same heroes and label them as the Fantastic Four. Would they then be the Fantastic Four because that was the name on the cover? Yes there have been membership changes in the past and some have been drastic, but there was still a core element or idea that represented Avengers. They hung out in Avengers' mansion, they had a core membership (Cap, Thor, Wasp, Iron Man, Hawkeye, etc.). A group of heroes with loose connections hanging out in Doc Strange's brownstone- that's the Defenders.

But, Clint himself is deaf (unless, of course, Bendis conveniently made him 'not deaf').

Surely, if the team knew of her disability (and they did), then of all people Clint would be the one most sensitive to it and most certain to make sure she could 'hear' him.
