I definately think the person is from the Pro-Reg side because Spidey will feel responsible...I don't think it is Yellowjacket because he is in a Avengers book with War Machine, heck, I think he's Tigra's new boyfriend. She-Hulk? I haven't seen her in anything upcomming.

They've got upcoming books with her having blows with Iron Man. Rumors are that she finds out what the "Illuminati" did to her cousin.
I do agree that the death will actually be a hero from the Pro Registration side. Having another death on the Anti-Reg side seems a bit unbalanced what with what already happened to Goliath and the most popular choice for another Anti-Reg death, Cap, has been pretty much debunked. I'm pretty sure I've seen an upcoming cover of Captain America with Falcon on it as well. And I don't see them killing off Hercules since that would have had MUCH more impact if Clor had killed him when he first appeared.

So here I go adding to Kaitouace's sig again, but he hit the nail on the head. FOOM is very playable.
While Nextwave is technically cancelled, it's only because they don't want a different creative team on it. It's been suggested that Ellis and Immomen have already outlined a couple of the mini-series that will follow the end of the regular title.
C'mon, guys... at this point, who cares? It's just a plot device to justify the volume of the crossover, death has no meaning at Marvel anymore. Bucky, Norman Osborn and Mar-Vell can speak volumes to that.
BigSoph made a good point, which I'll have to paraphrase (and twist to my liking! ) Essentially, he said that there's a new crop of young readers every five years that Marvel caters to, because they drop more coin than the old regulars.
In terms of Spider-Man, that's the flagship character that everyone starts out by reading, so Marvel feels the need to dumb him down so the young'n's can empathize. Five years ago, we got Ultimate Spider-Man #1. Now, the talk has been on MJ's death because Spider-Man is meant to suffer and get things wrong no matter what he does. God forbid he should grow as a character and age, let alone get married. The new kids have Civil War to poison their minds, and the unmasking will have Peter Parker despondent and living from paycheck to paycheck again.
Didn't Superman and Green Arrow die before? And a few others??? Look, I'm not saying I like characters coming back from the dead, but if it makes sense and it's a good thing, I'm not going to complain. Both Marvel AND DC do it, so don't act like it's just Marvel.
Also, I agree with you on how everyone starts reading Spiderman. He's a good character to start with. But I don't think they should 'go backwards'(If they do kill MJ) since that's what Ultimate Spiderman is for. Though I actually kind of wish Pete and MJ would split up somehow. I like Black Cat A LOT more then MJ.
*Ducks*
I think it would be interesting with the Cat and Spider back together. I mean Sensational Spiderman has been awesome with Cat!
Yellowjacket is on the cover to Mighty Avengers #3 behind Ultron...but then again it looks like the old Ultron and not the 'new' Ultron, so it might mean nothing that YJ is there?
If Pym dies..... well, that's not too bad. I don't like the bugger anyways. Hell, Cassie is better then he is with the growing/shrinking ability.
PLUS--- they killed one grower(Bill Foster) from Cap's side, it's about time they killed one on Tony's side.

Hawkeye will walk into the big battle, "What are you guys doing?"
Iron Man will ask "Are you Anti or Pro?"
"Anti...?"
Then Tony blast him right through the chest, "We shoulda cloned him, too."

That would be awesome. Hawkeye could be the Kenny of the Marvel Universe.
