She was great in Ostrander's Suicide Squad until the One Year Later stuff (no , I mean the the other "One Year Later").
Oh, good point - I forgot about her on there (mainly because with such a great cast she kind-of disappeared into the woodwork compared to, say, Floyd or Boomerbutt or Waller).

52 was def over the line. However, I was MORE shocked that you can get away with that kind of gore in a DC book. Geoff Johns' writing and his other book JSA continues to be good, but it doesn't need long scenes of such explicit violence.
I mean the Sobek part was 2 pages long. Did we need multiple shots of him chomping down??? What made it more disturbing is that it was a Croc Man. It wasn't a ray gun fight or something fantastical, it was a human being eaten by a croc, which does happen in real life.
And let's not get into the cannibalism part. yeah real creative, his name is Hannibal ... ha ha ha
Can't there be some form of entertainment anymore that doesn't rely on extreme violence to tell a story?

I think that might be a bit of a stretch. Last time I checked there weren't too many talking crocs that tricked their friend into changing from his super-powered form into human form so that he can eat him. That doesn't happen in real life too often. But if you want to take it to the basic level of "animal eating man" then yeah I guess that does happen. But so does a lot of other violent things that happen in comics. Fighting, shooting, assassinations (Cap. America), explosions that cause massive casualties, etc. And I would imagine those things happen a lot more in real life than people being eaten by crocodiles. Honestly it didn't bother me one bit. Neither did JLA. Just didn't seem like a big deal to me personally.
