Sorry for another hold-up, but the space you charged to isn't adjacent to Emerald Empress. (R17 vs. T17). The placement could make a difference down the line, so I don't want to just assume a spot for Superman. LMK which square you want him in.
In the meantime, thanks for missing for the first time. My bad rolls wouldn't be so bad if my opponents weren't batting .900. It's been like that in my last three games, including one where I'm filling in for JPuffy in the Marvel league; my opponent is only missing with Lockjaw.
A burst of energy crackled through the Fatal Five hideout on 31st Century Ventura, and a frazzled-looking Glorith collasped to the ground, along with an unconscious Mr. Freeze and Killer Frost.
Mano turned from a computer console, stunned. Glorith pointed a shaky finger at him.
"Arrange for Tharok ... to send a time bubble to the 21st Century ... for Sarya," Glorith said.
"Is that where you've been?" Mano asked. "What for? I mean, yes, Lady Glorith, I'll find Tharok immediately. Just curious about your ... "
"Fiasco," Glorith muttered. "All a vainglorious fiasco by the Empress to help her search for revenge on a reality-displaced first love, Superboy."
"What's a Superboy?" Mano asked, but once he was given a stern look by Glorith, he left the room.
Alas, the poor fool doesn't remember yet, thought Glorith. Or will he ever? The multiverse is haphazardly reforming itself in the hearts and minds of simpletons too unsophisticated to remember it properly. Can't blame Mano for not remembering Superboy and the role he played in forming the Fatal Five before I came along and tossed the Boy of Steel out of their reality. How the Empress out of the blue remembered Superboy retrieving her for the Sun-Eater mission, I'd like to know. She should still remember Valor in place of Superboy for that mission.
And for that matter, I wanted a explanation for that Young Superman's appearance. I can't write off that to the multiverse's machinations.
Perhaps if the Empress succeeds, she can bring his carcass back and we'll find out.
Ok. I don't know why I misplaced Empress. My original Intent was for Steel to have based her diagonally--which under the correction would have put him in S16 and Metropolis SCU at T15. Which pusts Superman in S17. However, since the move for Steel was 2 turns ago, I won't fight it if you leave him where he is currently posted. I mean if you had mercy and he could be placed in the position I intended him to be relative to Empress it would be nice, but you don't have to pay for my mistakes.
It's been really good playing against you. Yeah, your rolls have been bad, and I've been suprised at some of them I've made (looks at Maggie Sawyer). Superman has had it easy hitting at DVs where he's had to roll 3s or 4s. If you had made either one of those single target pulse waves against Superman, this game would have gone much differently.

1. Emerald Empress attacks Superboy (in S17), 10 AV vs. 17 in close combat. The first attack roll using PBeMNexus is ..... 4,2 for another miss. *shrugs* Well, there's four rounds left...
Given Maggie Sawyer is the only one that could attack Empress next turn, I will not use Protected.

The Protected gives Empress a token, yes, but she had cleared the turn before, so she'd just have one token and wouldn't have taken push damage. I still need to decide if I want to push or clear for turn 13. I did forget to take her token off the recap, so my bad on the confusion.
1. Emerald Empress pushes to strike Steel, 10 AV vs. 16 DV. The roll is 6,1 for the hit for four damage and the KO.
Go ahead and Clear me for Turn 14.

Well, aside from the rolls, I think the BFC hampered me a bit as well, or at least had more impact than I anticipated. The Empress couldn't get a range advantage, and having hindering on every ranged attack (especially the Pulse Waves) hurt.
In the regular season, I've got the option of playing the BFC of my choice in addition to the one randomly pulled. Not sure what I would have done here. I doubt I'd have OD'd it, just because there's worst cards likely to come.
