Pulse Wave
Q: Can a character with Lazarus Pit, Fantastic Four, or Suicide Squad still use the feat or team ability when KOd by an opposing character using Pulse Wave? Since Pulse Wave ignores all powers, abilities, & feats, would the character still go to the Lazarus Pit or gain the benefit of the team ability?
A: No. From the beginning of the action in which the Pulse Wave is declared until the end of the action (which is after the token has been applied to the attacking character) any characters that are within the Pulse Wave blast are considered to have no powers, team abilities, or feats. They are still members of a team if they have a team symbol, but they do not have a team ability.
Let's take a look at what it means to resolve the action. (It matters not that the question specifies certain things. The answer covers all possibilities.)

LoSH Rulebook, page 53 resolve: Completing an action and determining its effects, including any of the following: declaring the action, completing a move, rolling a die or dice, taking any free actions allowed by the declared action, dealing damage, and taking damage.
Since a figure is considered to have NO POWERS until the end of the action, and the end of the action does not occur until after all of the damage happens, it is clear that Unstoppable...a power...of which the figure is being treated as if it has not...will have no effect.
I fell off the matress... If you cancel Unstoppable with Outwit and you smack Doomsday to the cheek (LOL) Does the power still activate when it comes later in the dial that turn?... IT'S CANCELED!!

Can't tell if this is serious or not, but if it is, Unstoppable will not only not act as Invulnerability, it will also not activate when Doomsday is clicked for the reason you stated. The power will remain canceled until the beginning of your next turn, Doomsday lands on a stat slot where Unstoppable is not showing, or you lose Outwit for whatever reason. If you're going to Outwit the first Unstoppable click, make sure you deal enough damage to knock him past the second one!

Hmm... I had read a few people back when the dial was first previewed who claimed that since powers are not activated as the dial is turned, but rather after the dial has stopped turning, this power couldn't activate as it is worded on the card.
Frankly, I'm glad to see that this seems to be an incorrect assumption, although I already told someone that viewpoint on it. While I'll still have to offer an apology for being so completely and utterly wrong, rarely have I been happier to apologize!
Since added game effects can alter the rules, the added text overrides the rules in those situations. Feats do this quite frequently with individual characters, and that's why we have the Errata and Clarifications documents. With the new special powers, we probably will run into more situations like this, but I personally think it does add a nice new mechanic to the game.

Here's to shouting down the opponents to your viewpoint. This thread was rather insulting to people.
I do agree the rules seem to uphold the people claiming Pulsewave will ignore Unstoppable. That being said, it sure nerfs the idea of the all powerful "unstoppable" power if a character like Blizzard can knock him past it. This is why I would not be surprised to see an interpretation that makes U ignore PW. Or at least I hope there wil be. But until then, it will simply be a house rule.
What I do not like is that Invulnerability (a non-optional power) has been shoe-horned into an optional power. As such, I can MC Doomsday and cancel his Unstoppable...taking Invulnerability along with it.
That doesn't bother me.
Sure its a possibility - but to have any great effect you'd have to MC him (taking 2 clicks of damage) to "cancel" Unstoppable and then hit him for 5 clicks of damage to make it worth while.
I don't see this situation being some kind of great Achilles heal of Doomsday and thanks to a sane ruling that Special Powers are their own powers, it causes no confusion.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
If by explaining over and over again using examples and quotes from the rules is being rude then allow me to be so again
From the PAC under Outwit
"Treat the target as if it does not possess the countered power. That power remains countered until the beginning of your next turn."
and, from the Heroclix errata, under Outwit
"If a countered power no longer shows on the dial, but then returns to the dial before the beginning of the Outwitting player’s next turn, the power is still countered."
And under Pulse Wave, in the PAC
"All powers and team abilities possessed or used by, and feats assigned to, characters within range of this attack are ignored until the action has been resolved."
Explaining the rules, backing your argument with the logic, there's nothing wrong with that. Like I said, I believe you are correct when following the letter of the law, but it's the way you and a couple of others phrased things that came off as rude. I also believe what most people who have an issue with it probably feel the spirit if this power must mean that the weakness to PW will be faq'd. They have changed/clarified rules before, especially PW, so why not here. It's wishful thinking, but I am hoping they are right. But again, like I said, I agree with your interpretation.
What I feel is rude is when a person presented with the evidence to prove him wrong simply disregards that as it is opposition to his desired outcome.
"The sky is green!!! The sky is green!!!"
"Step outside with me, we'll look up and see that the sky is blue."
**EYES SHUT TIGHTLY**
"The sky is green!!!"
