Sersi cried, "We need to remember the purpose of our incursion, Avengers." She wielded the piece of equipment like a cudgel, striking one of the power cells a heavy blow. The power cell exploded in a shower of silver and blue light that did not harm the Eternal. The cavern shook, and the Kree -- Sentries and soldiers alike -- all turned their heads to see what could have shaken the foundations of their age-old plans.
Iron Man saw his opening as the Sentry whirled on Sersi. <SKRAAAAK> His mighty repulsors struck the Sentry under the arm and tore it off, as sparks flew from severed conduits.
"You're right, Sersi," called Tigra, "but we can't exactly ignore these gigantobots." Her claws barely left a scratch as she again failed to damage the Sentry in front of her.
Ant-Man had moved into position and took advantage of the Sentry's turn toward Sersi, as well. He employed his newest and most powerful attack: rapid growth with a blow of full-size strength. He carefully selected his target as the Sentry's small of the knee. Hank felt his fist enter the Sentry's vulnerable joint, damage its circuitry, and the second of the giant androids came crashing to the ground -- inert. "Now, Simon," Ant-Man said, "destroy those power cells."
Wonder Man followed Ant-Man's instructions and quickly flew to the most distant power cell. He noticed that Moon Knight had also made ready to destroy another power cell on the side of the room with the help of a heavy piece of Kree equipment.
"Earthling upstarts!" shouted the Kree Colonel. "You dare not continue such rampant destruction. You have no inkling of the consequences beyond your insignificant stellar system!"
As if following an order, the last remaining Sentry blasted Iron Man. "Unngh!" Rhodes' armored suit's circuitry had taken another beating, but he also knew that Sersi was right. 'If the Super Skrull can't even hurt that thing,' Iron Man thought, 'I don't think I'll be able to anymore, either.' Once again, he drew upon emergency power reserves and flew around to hide behind another of the power cells. He was, however, unable to remain aloft. 'That was the last of the bootjets. I probably fried all of the circuits in them,' he sighed to himself. 'This had better work.'
Somebody had to get them to make up for my dual critical misses!

( that was your turn 12b; naturally, as soon as the Super Skrull changes tactics to the easier target, he gets a great roll
one more turn and i might be able to destroy all of the power cells; if my early rolls had been better, i might have succeeded in time... )
Yeah you needed to take the Sentinels down faster or focus only on the power cells to complete the mission. When I was faced with this kind of scenario I just went all out for the target (a giant cannon to destroy a planet) and ignored everything else possible. I managed to get it but every fig on my team was koed before 15 turns were up:knockedou .

Suddenly, the Andean mountain shook: BWOOOM

Four explosions in rapid succession as the Avengers destroyed half of the Kree power cells within a matter of seconds. Only two remained operational. Right away, sand, then pebbles, then large stones began to fall from the cavern roof. Iron Man was on his last legs, Sersi had exhausted herself; even the Super Skrull had to pause in light of the awesome release of energy.
The Kree Colonel was speechless. He had never seen Kree technology or Kree machinations thwarted before. Moreover, he had spent himself trying to assault the elusive and dextrous Mockingbird and had finally had success: Bobbi fell to the ground unconscious.
Tigra shouted, "Hey, you rotten alien! That's my friend!" She leapt across the room to confront the Kree officer, while Ant-Man said, "Tigra, be careful! That giant android is still dangerous!"
- Wonder Man destroys the power cell/blocking terrain at U9.
- Moon Knight uses the HO and destroys the power cell/blocking terrain at U16. HO destroyed.
- Sersi pushes and hurls the HO to destroy the power cell/blocking terrain at Q16. Sersi takes 1 pushing damage. HO destroyed.
- Iron Man uses the LO and destroys the power cell/blocking terrain at J1=6. LO destroyed.

"I told you to back off!" Tigra snarled at the Kree officer. Straddling Mockingbird's unconscious form, Tigra resembled a she-cat defending her young. She exerted herself and tried to claw her opponent but her attack again was ineffective.
"Tigra," warned Ant-Man, "he's still dangerous. Don't!..."

Thank you, ALC, for the game. I would gladly have exchanged those three critical hits (Wonder Man, Ant-Man twice) for a couple of the 7s and 8s i needed to hit during the crucial middle turns of the game (Tigra twice with BCF, Super Skrull twice, Wonder Man, Iron Man...)...
