I think the Kang team is better then you give them credit for. They are not all that mobile, but they have an awful lot of Invulnerability that takes along time to cut through.

The LazPit strategy was pretty good.

There are also some options with this team as Iron Lad is a flyer.

The go first fix seems to have done the trick.

I still don't think the Kang team is all that great. If it wasn't for three consecutive Shape Change rolls by Space Phantom, this would have been a different story. They'll get better when they can get the big guy out (199 pt. Kang), but right now they are hit and miss.
