I have no idea who Dawnstar is but shes GREAT

Im not sure if I like Jericho being a longer dialed non mystic Deadman though, even though that is what he does.

I'm just glad Jericho's a common. I still haven't been able to get a Deadman.

Dawnstar's cool, and I'm betting the other requisite Legionnaire is Karate Kid.

Just have to leave some posotive commentary and say I may not know who they both are but I like them both.

Also like the Dawnstar without a flight base pose.

Anyone who knows me can guess my opinion. Don't know the character. Don't care about the character. Must have the little plastic army man.

I am very happy to see Dawnstar. I will have to start planning some Wildfire/Dawnstar teams.

I have never been a huge fan of Jericho in the comics but I will play him a couple of times. I am just not a fan of special powers that take up the entire front of a card. Too much to remember.

If the majority of this set is going to look like these figures and be unrecognizable or obscure...granted as much as I love new figures and powers...I may still hold off and buy the bricks when they are $50 each.

Maybe the first one Ill have to get to make sure I get the Worlds Finest which I absolutely HATE the 2x2 base for a duo. They put duos on single bases with no problem and they couldve just used a transporter base and put to dials on the ends for the extended 18 clicks!! ARGGGG...I digress

Jeriwho? whatever...I wish was SR so I wouldnt end up with 7 of them. Dawnstar looks cool...way undercosted and very cool SP. My complaint? Yeah, Im gonna miss flight bases. Get rid of the mechanic...the bases were fine and made for easy storage...I digress....

Its quite possible that Monsters and Mutations will be one favorites sided next to Supernova then followed by Crisis which could be my least.

I'm surprised these two pieces are being referred to as obscure.

They are both from the 80's as well as being around within the last year or two. Dawnstar has appeared as recent as a few months ago and Jericho returned to the Titans leading up to Crisis.

Surely they have at least a greater history then the Warbound, Cuckoos, Danger, Agent Brand, Zombies, Warskrull, etc and have had more recent appearances than Maestro, Super-Adaptoid, Chamber, ZZaxx, Box, Dazzler, Shatterstar, and anything Age of Apocalypse.

Just because you don't know a character doesn't mean its obscure or unrecognizable. Those would be characters that a majority of people have never heard of and I doubt most comic readers don't recognize Jericho and Dawnstar.

And for those players who don't know the two characters, its a great opportunity to explore stories outside of your comfort zone.

Come to think of it, shouldn't Jericho also have the Teen and Mutant keywords?

I am really digging Dawnstar's sculpt deffinitely my favorite one I've seen from this set so far.

I'd be about 100 times as happy with Dawnstar if by comparision she didn't outclass all the other super speedsters out there.
Dawnstar is a characters whos shown to be able to fly super wicked fast, but hasn't displayed super refelxes and isn't at all one of the Legion of Super Heroes top fighters.
Yet she deserves more than double the HSS that Kid Flash got?

Even in comparison to the Speed Demon who's whole bag is super human speed he only gets 1 click and she gets 5?
Seth's showing some weird and un-warranted bias in this case.
Heck she could barely take on a Khund with a knife in one of the issues I can recall...

A solid figure play-wise, but she just reads a sceraming fanboy:"she should be this tough DC" when she just isn't and Kid Flash IS.

So again shes great, but undeservedly so.
