You could have done the same basic principal with LE Multiple Man that does have it.
At worst it would only be a minor difference in moves.
Im Ok continuing from here if you are.
Bear in mind that any copy of Multiple Man can use that special power not just your original. Provided its the last action on your turn (which should be the part that keeps it from endlessly recursing).
Splitting and then on the next turn using X-Men TA to rebond and heal is ok.
As long as you dont get to Mastermind on top of that. Thats the part that would make it nye impossible to cut through.

Free) Madri 9 uses Perplex on Dazzler for +1 Range
Free) Jamie Prime uses Outwit on Bullseye's ES/D
1) Dazzler goes for broke, RCE on Bullseye. 7(8-1) vs 16 for 4, roll is: 1,1=2, critical miss. Dazzler takes two (one crit, one push).
At this point, X-Factor would like to offer their surrender. Next turn, you can easily drop both Madri 9 and Dazzler, which is good for 140-ish points plus two more bounty markers which can be used to pretty much neuter Havok; I can't close with Taskmaster becuase I don't have the manpower to swarm him and survive, and Bullseye can take me apart from range. I can retreat, but that won't buy me enough time to make more than one, two more Jamies at most.
Excellent game; in retrospect, I should not have used my main mobility piece as 'bait' to keep Bullseye occupied for the first few turns, and I waited too long to have an LE Jamie grab that LE that Taskmaster wound up sitting on.
A good match. Very close. A roll or two either way could have changed things.
