In my case it is not so much a question of time as it is of geography. Had Heroclix been made in Sweden in the late eighties or early nineties:
* DC Heroclix would be limited to Superman, Batman and their assorted villains. The "obscure" spots would be taken up by their associates in the Justice League. Had it been invented in the 70s, the Legion would also qualify.
* Marvel Heroclix would be a bit more diverse but focused on Spider-Man, Hulk, Fantastic Four and the X-men. Occasional guest stars: Daredevil, Punisher, the Avengers, Power Pack.
* We would have gotten Transformers, He-Man and Action Force (as G.I. Joe was called over here) clix a long time ago.
* Clix figures would be released here approximately two years after their release in the US.
Quebbster, I'm with ya on the GI Joes. Where's my Snake-eyes and Stormshadow!!!!!!! And Dr.Mindbender and the evil twins, and Destro and ...I could go on for days.
Most importantly - Mutations and Monsters really -would- have had Werewolf by Night, Dracula, Hannibal King, Frank Drake, Dr. Sun, Monster of Frankenstein, the Living Mummy, Morbius, etc.

- E-2 Aupes would have gray hair and would be showing his respects for E-2 Batman at his funeral.
- The Freedom Fighters would be complete with Doll Man, Black Condor, and the Human Bomb
- Jay Garrick would part of the JSA
- E-2 Hawkman would have a yellow cowl
- Terry Fair would be Mr. Terrific (at least until murdered)
- Pemberton would be the Star Spangled Kid
- Wonder Dog probably would have accompanied Marvin and Wendy (although not cannon)
- Wonder Woman probably would not fly
- Legionares would include Star Boy and Sun Boy
- The Teen Titans would include Wally West as Kid Flash
Marvel
- Invaders would be complete and would include the Liberty Legion (Jack Frost and Blue Diamond and the original Whizzer)
- Every Set would include a "What If" piece
- Spider-Man and any other Marvel Figure would make a team (including Santanna)
- Some very suspect pieces would probably have been made (Hate Monger and K-K-K guys for Black Panther to whoop up on)
- The Beast would have an Avengers version, but Jarvis would be announcing roster cut backs and send the Galactic Guardians (also complete) back home.
- Dazzler would have roller skates
Others
- Micronauts (I believe Marvel) would have been made
- TMNT
- Space Ghost and the Herculoids
- Johnny Quest
- Isis (what would Shazam! be without Isis)
- Robotech and Rick Hunter
- Buck Rogers and Princess Ardalla
- Battlestar Galactica Clix
- Star Trek Clix
- The Lone Ranger and Tonto
- Strike Force Morituri (also Marvel) - after each match you would roll 3D6 if they came up all ones you would smash the figure into oblivion
"A Jester unemployed is nobody's fool." - The Court Jester "And so he says, I don't like the cut of your jib, and I go, I says it's the only jib I got, baby!
Speaking of the Micronauts - which, yes, were Marvel - I've great hopes we'll at least see Bug *tik* now that he's *tik* showing up again in comics. *crosses fingers*

Acroyear would be at the top of my list. I still remember the day I bought him.
Sadly I lost most of mine over the years. I do still have a few Time Travelers and the red race car though.
Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.- THE Batman
Most Wanted -Man Ape- Scorpion- Boomerang- Nighthawk- Mr Hyde- Radioactive Man-Executioner
DC would have started out with better stats than Marvel.
Indy Clix would've succeeded by having a wider audience/consumer base and more diverse character selection.
Character Cards and Rules would have been printed on "new, higher-quality paper" that for some reason only holds garishly bright colors and can't keep the colors inside the lines of the artwork.
Everyone would blame Jim Shooter for screwing things up.
Heroclix would have a TV commercial, Comic-book ads (featuring poorly rendered panels of players playing), and probably a music video....a very, very BAD music video.
Half of my DC Heroclix collection would be rendered dead or nonexistent by the end of CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS.
"I open my mind for the same reason I open my mouth: to close it on something solid." G. K. Chesterton
DC would only have one Green Lantern and no it wouldn't be Hal or Alan (All hail Kyle Rayner). Marvel would have a Wolverine with every frickin' team ability.
Kermit was right: "It isn't easy being green."
HULK SMASH!
MachIV of the T-Bolts clan
For me, darkhawk would have been powerful, Sleepwalker, Spidey, Ghost Rider, Hulk and Wolverine would have been in FF gear. Sue Storm would have been in that sexy little number of hers and holding a huge zapper gun(speaking of which, maybe i'll mod that one...meeeow. I don't care WHAT Wizard says, that was hot.) Thing'd have that bucket on his face. Daredevil would have black and red armor...
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
If Heroclix wouldve been made in my generation they wouldve had cross over sets with Transformers, GIJoe, Thundercats, Centurions, Masters of the Universe, Silverhawks and transporting M.A.S.K. vehicles.
