Seems like the standard Day 1 thing, who am I to break with tradition?
I am all about tradition.
I have nothing against MSU (yet), so...
vote:no lynch
I've said before, tradition is not a good reason to do something.
If you genuinely believe that a No Lynch is better than a thought out lynch, then vote it, but make that your reasoning. So long as someone is lynched, we have a voting record, and a piece of knowledge, the player's role and affiliation, to help us decide on a target for our night actions, assuming players have them.
##Vote: MSU
However, I'd much rather him be replaced if he's inactive.

You make a very good point and I do like to track inactive players after a day or two for a pressure vote. On the other hand though, I have totally missed a Day 1 in another game and could have missed out on a chance to defend myself. A lynch on day 1 seems too close to 100% metagame influenced for my tastes.
It's a catch-22 scenario. We need info before making an informed lynch vote but, sans metagaming, the only way to get info on day 1 is to vote a lynch.
Actually that only applies on days after today so maybe it would be better to save him till tommorow if we have no leads then instead of elminating a possible townie now and then having to shoot in teh dark if we have no one tommorow No Lynch

I disagree with your second paragraph.
I find that as long as you discuss the proposed lynches first, you generally get enough information to make an informed lynch.
The people who just come in, and stick a vote on, with no discussion, are the ones I am most wary of.

change vote,... NO LYNCH
Why get rid of MSU right now,... I say lets wait until tomorrow,... if we have no leads lets get rid of him if we have a lead, keep him until the day that we need to cut off someone with out any leads,...
