Story post:

One of the Wendigo spotted Doctor Strange and Valkyrie and stalked towards them as he recuperated from the Hulk's attack.

Meanwhile the other two Wendigo's double-teamed the glowing green goliath. Shaman blasted one in the face causing it to recoil, and that was all the opening that the Hulk needed. He cracked his fist down on the creatures head, knocking it out. Then he grabbed the other one from off his back and booted it, sending it flying into the distance.

The Hulk snorted. "Hmph! Hulk told Furry things he would beat them"

The last Wendigo prepared to pounce, but Valkyrie's battle-hardened senses alerted her to the danger. She pushed the mage behind her and threw her sword into the bushes, impaling the creature.

"The battle is won!" She smiled, and then stumbled, severely weakened after the effects of Strange's magic.

Just a point of note, Wakanda, how are you interpreting the new 'darker' aspect of Strange's powers? How you put it in your last post seems kinda contrary to the notes I threw in sporadically during the game

I didn't think it was contrary. I was reading it that both Strange and Val weren't aware that he was draining her lifeforce to make his attacks more potent.

So she wasn't aware of the clicks she was leeching off her mid game

My only thing is that it seems in the epilogue that it's all taking place at once at the end. The problem with that is, that no one would know that there's a problem with Strange's powers, and they'd just go on as if nothing was wrong

I was seeing it as:

'I cast the bolts of bedevilment on our assailants!' - Strange

"ow!' -Val

'Wow, that was more powerful than I expected. Val, are you hurt?'

'Yes!'


Kinda thing That's why I was pointing out things such as '...Valkyrie hanging in the back acting as a damage battery instead of acting to her true nature and getting in the melee' and such I mean, you can write/rationalize it however you'd like (I personally like the idea of Valkyrie's more war like nature allowing herself to power Strange's spells, almost insisting on it).



I think the only issue I think I have is that the 'damage taken' seems conflicting between story and game-play.

Want me to edit the last story post? I've got no problem with changing it up a bit.

Just any parts that would conflict with 'after the first use of DW, they new it was there'.
