To your point, as much as I love hot sauce in all of its varieties, there is one sauce that I will not touch: Dave's Insanity Sauce. It is so hot that, truly, I bet they used it for torture in Guantamo Bay. Whoever made that sauce hates humanity and was probably beaten repeatedly as a child.

See, why would anyone put something that hot on wings? It doesn't add to the flavor, it just makes you rue the decision to put it on your food.

I will admit, however, that I don't have as high a tolerance for spicy food as others do. I usually get my wings mild or sometimes medium. Any hotter than that and I'll spend the entire meal with my tongue in a glass of water, and I'd prefer to avoid that.

Water is your first mistake. Milk is your friend.

And for the record about 3 tbsp of Dave's Insanity Sauce mixed into a brick of cream cheese makes a hellova partner for tortilla chips and a football game (try it with Franks Red hot first if you're too pansy to go for the gusto!).

I once ate a jalapeno so hot that milk didn't even help. My face got hot and turned red. I started to sweat. The pain was numbing, but not numbing enough to make it not hurt. Milk didn't help and I sat with it in my mouth for a while to try to make it work. It was excrutiating. I like hot, but not that hot. That was not fun. It took a long time for it to go away.

Yeah, I know that water is bad and bread/milk is good. Actually, when I was in Mexico, my cousin dared me to take a bite out of a Jalapeno. I was only 9, so I bit the thing and immediately regretted it. Well one of the resort workers came over and stuff half a lemon into my mouth. It worked!
