So if I use double-time on the Hulk, will he be forced to take the 1 damage that ignores WP and TAs before he can make the Quake attack. Double-time says to take this damage at the end of the move, but not after the move resolves. Is there as difference in those two wordings? Important because if the move resolves before the damage, the player should be able to choose the order of things, I think. But if he takes the damage before the move action resolves, he will lose Quake and not be able to use it, making the whole tactic worthless. Am I on the right track? Or the wrong track?
However, it is pushing damage, which is applied after the completion of the action. The timing of "at the end of the move" was the end of the action at the time. I don't think the wording overrides the timing of applying pushing damage. Good question.
:edit: eh, guess I was wrong...and too slow to boot.
:edit again: Reading the wording usually helps, too. Having read the Hulk's power, the move action is resolved and so the push would need to happen. I agree that it is Quebbster's option #2.

Well, I AM pretty awesome.
An understanding of the law of large numbers leads to a realization that what appear to be fantastic improbabilities are not remarkable at all but, merely to be expected.

#F002 Lunge – can a character pick up an object while he is moving the 2 squares via Lunge?
Since it is movement and it is movement as a result of being given an action, yes, the character can pick up the object. However, if picking up the object would result in an illegal action (say, the action was a power action to activate Close Combat Expert which can’t be done if the character is holding an object) then it cannot be picked up.
Since the rules for carrying and the rules for picking up objects are similar I say this ruling means you can Carry during a Lunge.

I'd say it depends a lot on your interpretation.
Double Time specifies that the character may not make an attack during the move. This really leaves two possible interpretations:
1. Quake is part of the move, and cannot be used due to the DT restriction.
2. Quake is separate from the move, in which case Hulk would need to take DT damage before Quaking.
I prefer option 2 here.
There is a loophole though: with option 2 Hulk can use Endurance to absorb the pushing damage from Double Time and remain on his Squash click.
That makes sense to me. Thanks for the clarification.
