With that he moves forward to get a better view. With his ring he let's loose a bot of yellow energy that crackles off the sand, creating a mirror with the high heat. It allows the rest of his team to see the Shrinking legionaire and have a true shot at her.

(Enkafos to Q24, Outwit Supersenses on Shrinking Violet, Using AVENGERS for FREE MOVE).

"Happy Hunting, Haasp." Lyssa whispers. "The book has written of your trap....now it is up to you to forge your fate..." (Perplex DamV to 5).

With that Haasp is on the hunt, smelling blood. He runs out and launches a volley of yellow spears at Shrinking Violet. (RS to Q19, 10 on 16, needing 6 for the KO. Roll is: 2,4 for a 6 and the KO. AST to Lyssa, SA and KO to Haasp).

"Bedovian, it is now up to you," Lyssa continues, "Fire True, and the book will speak of you." (CP onto Bedovian: 2 Tokens, 1 Remaining)

With that chains of yellow wrap around Bedovian and launch him onto the rocks. (TK to P18) Bedovian lines up his shot and fires upon the powerful legionaire, desperately looking for a weak spot. (12 on 16 with RCE, needing 6 and failed IMP for the 2 clix or the push. Roll is: 2,3 for a 5. IMP roll is: 2.)

SA to Bedovian. AST to Lyssa. AST to Haasp for CP??

"Focus on the big game first." Haasp says, clearly becoming the field leader at this point in the fracas. (Leadership Roll : 4. 5 Available Actions)

"What big game??" Thragatix shouts. "There are two huge dudes just Kilowaging it up out there....somebody is about to be toast."

"The wounded one." Is the response back to him.

"Oh, yeah...."

Enkafos is already busy at work with his ring trying to find a weakness. (Move to O24) A series of forms are sent from his ring, searching the Great Arena. Many weapons are unearthed but one spikes the rings database more than others...a crude cannonball registering a portion of lead...it is tossed into the leg of Valor...slightly crippling him. (OW INV on Valor).

"Are you ready Arkillo?" Enkafos says with a sinister laugh brewing in his throat, looking back at Arkillo, who stands there with chains around him. Much like a rabid dog.

"RRRAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!" Is the simple response.

"Go my champion." Lyssa whispers gently. "Haasp has already told you where to strike. You have my blessing!" (PP AV to 10, CP both tokens AV to 12)

The chains fling him across the battlefield as Lyssa exerts herself to move the giant General of the Corps. (TK to K21) and he hits the ground running (Charge to G20).

Wielding a chariot that was discarded ages ago, carrying it like it was a hammer, Arkillo brings it down around Valor's frame. (Arkillo Flurry on Valor, 12 on 17, needing 5. Roll is: (4,3 for a 7 and 5 clix. 2nd Flurry 12 on 15. Roll is: (2,1) for a 3 and the hit. 2 Clix after toughness. AST Lyssa [2] TK and the 2nd flurry would not have landed without perplex. 2 SA Arkillo. SA Enkafos.)

The Daxamite wavers greatly and falls to his knees.

Thragatix starts to move towards the wounded Legionarre and Bedovian starts to draw his bow.

"HE IS MINE!" Haasp snarls. He draws back his bow of yellow energy and lets loose one arrow. (Haasp RS on Valor (L21), 10 on 14. Needing 4. No split. Roll is: 4,4 for an 8 and the KO to Haasp).

Bedovian ticks and looks at the bear of a flying teenager looking at him and moves away from his position, hoping to find a better vantage point. (Bedovian moves to M22).

No CP token.

I gave Haasp an AST for the Arkillo attack as well, for without CP, the Arkillo 2nd flurry would not have connected.

Pushes on Bedovian, Haasp, and Lyssa. No push due to Willpower for Enkafos.

This is my first time running Contingency Plan in any form, live or in the league. It's a bit broken.

This has been a good game Glen, I'm sorry I had to sit and wait. I hope you understand though, I had the first shot. I took it. There was no way I could run up into Mon-El and Ultra-Boy's grills without dying a terrible death. Range was my only trump card and the Map Pull was really lucky for me.

This game is much different (and it's not over yet) on another map, that's for sure. One without a giant open battlefield with ton of sniping space for my boys would be ideal for a rematch.

Funny thing is that I wouldn't have run this squad if I didn't have two injuries last game. Luck has been on my side thus far.

Well, I had my positioning mistake at the beginning of the game. That's what really cost me. CP is certainly a tough card; sometimes it seems more devastating in these online games than in RL play.
