I am honestly surprised at how many people on these boards hated the story.
I absolutely loved it.
I just wanted a fun intense story that worked out fine in the end and I got it. No complaints from me.
Now the real fun is going to see what happens in Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps as they begin to pick up the pieces and see what they do with ALL the Corps.
Plus it looks like Evil Star is going to be giving GL a run for his money too if that hint at the start of BL was anything to look at.
I'm going to hit him really, really hard with a big green boxing glove............ I'm kidding. - Hal Jordan

Yeah this is mostly where i was at. It was fun. Simply that. It was a fun read like a fun summer movie is to watch sometimes. Its far from the worst DC story i have ever read, and sure, its not the best either.
But the art was great and super intense, and the story makes sense within itself without being too convoluted or abstractly silly. Its rainbow laserguns wars with slightly contextual zombies... that has a little theme about what comics have done with the death mechanic... whats not to like?
just don't take it too seriously and its pretty enjoyable.
You know, they may be fictional characters but I basically was having the exact same reaction as Barry when he went looking for Ralph and Sue. It was an oddly emotional gut punch to see him crying out for the friends that he felt should have been resurrected and are still dead.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

His Body is buried at the end of time...Booster did this to prevent future resurrection/regeneration of his body
Which means he'll be back next week in the extra special one shot with 15 different cover variants and 20 crossovers, 5 of which are new titles and the rest are floundering titles with sales that indicate they should be cut from circulation... Oh, wait, this isn't Marvel is it?

i'm pretty sure when asked at one of the comic-cons about whether or not it was ted kord in the last panel of booster gold:blue and gold, geoff johns said it was, and that he was alive.
I love it too. I think it had a great poetic ending about life.
I love that AGAIN Jhons pay so much respect to the characteres when it says that it was not nekron who just open the door, y were them who push their way out of the desth realms and for that they more than any others are the champions of life. This pay respect also to Every individual resurrection story of those characteres.
I'm also surprised that some people dislike it. On facebook hundris of people just have great things to say to Jonhs, he told a great action and poetic story with surprises at everystep , what more do you want? And it also he undo the damage that series like final crisis did with Martian Manhunter.
And you have to recognize his ability to keep the story "rolling" (killing some characters, resurrecting others, if is for a good story that is what really matter because deadsa and resurrections will exist always in comics, but not always you have deads and resurrections with good stories). He keep the story rolling since GL Rebith, sinestro wars, Blackest Night and now this new series. Who knows how many others good stories he have in mind?
Blackest Night was amazing, (and I dislike Final Crisis so much) Johns already had my trust in him in wherever he write, and after this he still have my trust even more. (even to the point that I will give him a chance even if he do a bad story someday, but so far is all good).
