The rules are there for a reason, and when there is a loophole, it should be addressed.

If I argued that Theme Team PC Rolls are an action because you receive an "action" token for using it, would you say I was right? Well, that is exactly what most judges rule. But we already know that TT PC rolls are not an action. However, the rules don't say it either way, it's ambiguous. If someone didn't bring it up, many people would still be playing it wrong.

So, no, you are wrong, it is an issue.

Its a non issue b/c everyone knows who should get the points, and understand what the rule states. The mods job is to take everyone questions seriously, and hopefully stop the rules lawyers from bringing this up again.

A loophole can be ruled any way by someone playing the game, as we don't understand the intent of the game designer.

People talk about "intent", but were they there when the game designer wrote the rules? Then they don't know the intent. That is why WizKids appointed a Rules Arbiter and 3 Sheriffs. To clear up any questions, and fix loopholes.

Rules lawyer or not, the loophole is there.

Word it like this:

Victory Points are to be awarded to the opposing player(s) for any feat that is removed from the game by any game effect, in which the assigned character has not been damaged by an opposing character. If there is more than one opposing player, divide the feat's point total, rounded up, among all players.


This can apply to many feats, such as Flashbang, Protected, Alias, etc. There are many "one use" feats that this could apply to.

That method is the most concise, and easy to understand wording I could come up with.

Just because you feel a thread is supposed to be somewhere, doesn't mean that's where it actually should be. If you are requesting that a rule be changed, it goes in Dear Wizkids, if you are asking for clarification on a rule, that would go in the Rules forum.

Why are you disrespecting the mods decision to move it to dear WK? There's certainly better ways to go about getting your point across than accusing a moderator of trolling you.. Further accusing someone of being a troll is a form of trolling.
