A game this size usually takes about a month or so to complete - but half that time will be night phases.
Labor Day is September 6th, right? (not familiar with US holidays). I don't think it will even start before then, so you should be fine.

The rules link is blocked at my office, but I assume this is akin to the game of sitting in a circle and the mafia killing the town one by one in their sleep. At any rate, I'll play. I enjoy mafia and Eddie Izzard is excellent. His Heimlich Maneuver bit is still awesome.
