I have had no problem dealing with WOS bullseye im 3-0 against him all in 500pt games 2 of which were in a tournament. I don't even think about basing him and just shoot at him from range. On the flipside im 3-0 using him but he took some hits from range and died a few times. Mind you I had a NC player who let me base them while they cleared and I hit them for 6 with blades haha that was pretty lucky.

Well damn we all better just forget how good he is because you are 3-0 against him.

But is he really the best? I don't play 300pts so maybe he is a different type of animal down there but he is just 3 damage and you can light him up from range. And no need to be sensitive if I said NC was the best and you said no I beat him every time I wouldnt get too worked up about it.....it is an over hyped figure thread afterall.

Hes best when you have a lower point total yeah. The scary part about him is when he is thunderbolted there isn't really much you can do to keep damage off from him. 3 damage only but 3 damage that is GOING to hurt. Specially 2 clixs in. Zen hattan? Takes the clicks. NC? Takes the clicks. Icon Superman? Takes the clicks. Thats the crazy thing about him. If you can't protect him, yeah hes toast, hes not a defensive fig. He is an offensive beast who is supposed to hit the right fig at the right time, not get picked off. Just my take on it though, if you don't think he is anything special, then cool for you. I def think he has been under hyped so far.

Im not saying he isnt great. I have just seen him die alot and while a handful of games in a certain format might be premature its just friendly talk.

I guess he just fits in the under-hyped category because all eyes were on NC. From everything I have seen and heard, in most cases, Bullseye has ended up being better than NC. Maybe not even better, but certainly for the purposes of this thread, has overdelivered on what little hype he got, and NC has underdelivered on the mass amount of hype he got.

I mean with almost any fig people will say "well he didn't do that good when I played against him" - but even you said you went 3-0 against Bullseye, and also went 3-0 using Bullseye. Seems more like you probably have some skill, and were better at the game than your opponents. Otherwise if he wasn't that good you would have went 3-0 against him, and 0-3 with him you'd think.

Well in high point games obviously the soft range threat is going to get killed. In low point games, or even played right in high point games, he is a terror. If your opponent decides to kill him he will most likely die, but your opponent HAS to deal with him. He can be a great first strike figure in low point games. In high point games he can hang back until the big guys are engaged and then start shooting through them. He can engage figures twice his cost and is best at shooting melee figures since they have to get to him and will likely be unable to hit his defense at that point.

oh, and have we forgotten Firelord? they changed more than one rule to circumvent that guy, and he's still decent in Golden Age tourneys....

I dunno, seems to me that Firelord was probably hyped up, his stats are ridiculous.
