Cool. Great tie-up piece. I haven't been reading the recent Secret Six stuff, but what I have read with the team I've enjoyed. Now I might need to go back and get a Parademon. I'm also only got the rookie versions of Deadshot and Cheshire.
I do hope we get to see the original Ragdoll at some point though. Hopefully, original version that's more of a combatant and one to represent the cult leader (Mind Control, Mastermind, Leadership) that was presented in the Starman series.

Throw in a "Junior" fig and we can have a Ragdoll-family trifecta!
(BTW, Rep for referencing the Starman Ragdoll storyline )

I like it. For his cost, you can run many multiples alongside a good tentpole. But now that we have this, I want to know if and what they Secret Six ATA is. Maybe that just makes him godly. 46 and 46 is 98. So, two of them and THE Parademon, who is 94 points, clock in at 192. On a large enough team, that's good. Now imagine 5 or 6 of them. Never thought I'd ask this, but does he beat HoT Venom?

Good ol HCRealms. Where dials are "garbage" if it's not their favorite character and everything is overcosted.

I thikn for the Cost their on par with each other.
Depends though: Do you just need a tie up? Then Ragdoll.
Do you want a Tie up and A piece that can eviscerate people? Venom

Heh, did not consider the possibility of playing multiple Ragdolls and Parademons. That could be fun - two Ragdolls should be able to give two Parademons +2 and vice versa.
how about Venom and Ragdoll together with a heavy hitting Hypersonic? two annoying tie up pieces, one that can hold his own in a serious fight, plus a Superman or Sentry to buzz through and rack up the KOs?
So then they'd have to take out the Classic Appearnce WW Supes and batman?
And Mr. Terrific.
And Golden Age Green Lantern and the Easy Company guys, etc...

He does not. Venom has Leap/Climb as a trait so he can get where he needs to more easily and is far more dangerous to those he's adjacent to. Plus he has self-healing capabilities.
Not to split hairs, but Legacy was a legacy set, as in many of the characters were legacy characters - Mr. Terrific, Star-Spangled Kid/Stargirl, Hourman, Impulse/Kid Flash, etc.
Ragdoll Jr. is a newly-created character and, as evidenced by 99.9% of the lantern complaints, most people don't consider new characters as qualifying for a set that boasts to showcase 75 years worth of comic book heritage.
My personal opinion is that the name of the set is wrong and should be changed. Ragdoll is not a personal favorite of mine (I honestly couldn't care less), but no one can disagree with him being high on the 'needed' list and there are many vocal fans of the Secret Six who have been begging for him for quite a while.
So, in short, good choice on Ragdoll, but please change the name of the set to "DC: Latest and Greatest."
The thing is that most of the lanterns in this set have a long history of comics. Lets take a look...
<rant on>
The white lanterns aren't part of the main set (not taking any slots) so they don't really count.
Guy Gardner is a long standing character though the red lantern part makes it a modern flair (I guess he counts as new)
Carol Farris as star saphire goes back a few decades so she doesn't count
John Stewart is another old lantern so he doesn't count.
The 4 other leaders of the corps are all new
The 2 Guardians are old characters with new flairs
and Sinestro who is another old characters.
So there are a total of 4 new lanterns and 3 old ones that are different being made. So people are getting up in arms over a total of 8 characters that are from the modern era. What people see are the ten white lanterns that take away spots from other characters.
<rant off>
Give me Zoo Crew or give me Death
Then again feel free to ignore me (like people usually do )

<sigh> When you think of the rich 75 YEARS of DC comics history, is Ragdoll really one of the top DC characters you want to celebrate on it's anniversary?
I think that really the name of the set is how you interpret it. For me celebrating the greatest years of something doesn't mean you have to look to the past. For example in Iron Man 2 to celebrate his father's legacy Tony Stark made a modern age Stark convention. The convention wasn't based 100% off the old model and it didn't showcase old tech. The convention was celebrating the past by introducing the future. This is what DC 75 is for me, a celebration of the past by unveiling new figures (especially some that needed a remake or have never been made).
As for Ragdoll, Hell Yes!!!! This guy is the ultimate annoying tie-up and I love LOVE that his trait boosts a rather "meh" figure. THAT is what traits should do, enhance the character with unique dial long, unoutwittable abilities that they couldn't fit on the dial or don't make sense as a power. In Ragdoll's case his friendship based attack boost, which is even more awesome because it gives him the boost as well. Wizkids thank you for listening, THIS is how traits should be, NOT like Wolfsbane (I consider that the lazy half-assed approach).
I like him a lot and I'm psyched to see him but I wish he was a little more dangerous. Where are the blades? I love it when he cuts people's fingers off with scissors.
1 click of Perplex anywhere on the dial and it would be a five star fig. But still I like it.
Not letting go will be a Bane for anyones shooter who isnt Bullseye. And if new (AND VERY MUCH ENJOYED) habit of putting fullish teams in the same set (runaways, ufoes, xforce, powerpack, warriors 3) than a new Deadshot has a great chance of happening!! Especially when you notice both Bane and Black Alice (as well as Det. Chimp for our Shadowpacters) are already in the set.
I'm VERY impressed, DC 75th previews right freakin after the Brightest Day release! Way to go WizKids! Looks like there will be hope for a December release after all!
