Skykushryd approaches the suited man and inquires why he wished to speak with the group. The suited man replies, speaking with strange mannerisms.
"You no doubt... wonder how it is you came to this place? In addition to being home to more baser recreations, this establishment is also a crosspoint of the multiverse. As you may or may or may not be... aware, reality itself has become... fluid of late. Pieces of reality itself have gone missing, which I'm sure you agree is... worrisome. However, a greater threat exists. On their own, pieces of reality effect wild, uncontrolled changes. These changes are a crime against the nature of the universe, but... such violations are not always cause for alarm. Reality has a way of... sorting itself out. However, there exists a device, that when powered by said pieces of reality, may reshape all that is. Use of such a machine would undoubtedly cause a catastrophic event. One which existence could not recover from. It is for this reason that you have been brought here. At one time, the device was kept in safekeeping by those ignorant of it's true power. Due to... unforeseen circumstances, the device was lost. It now travels the multiverse, it's journey, shaking loose the very pieces of reality that fuel it. It is through these pieces that you will track it. Time is of the essence. When the device runs out of fuel, it will halt, and once more it be vulnerable to capture. I have faith you will find it before then. When you are ready to proceed, simply leave through the front entrance, and your feet will be on the path. Stay... (the man chuckles eerily) safe."
The suited man turns and walks slowly towards the exit. When his back is turned, Wade lunges at the man's briefcase. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, for him, he catches his foot on the ground and stumbles, falling on his face. The suited man turns and glances back as Wade clutches his bleeding nose, makes a sound of disapproval, and then quite suddenly, fades from existence. (Critical failure on Wade's part.)
Stranger and Pax both wander down the stairs to the commons area. Stranger attempts to loot the bar, only to be met by the suspicious gaze of the bartender. The bartender puts down the glass he was polishing and reaches under the bar while saying "You need something?" Rather than be met by a shotgun to the face, Stranger grabs a handful of beer nuts from the bowl on the counter and shakes his head. The bartender nods. "good choice."
Pax attempts to convince the patrons that the rabbit-like creature at the poker table has been stealing from him. None of them seem surprised. None of them also seem inclined to do anything about it. One of the patrons, an Australian man with a rifle over his shoulder, says "I've been pissing in his drink. what goes around comes around."
Space Jawa goes to the books shelves and begins to examine them. He finds a book with a strange symbol drawn on the spine. Upon opening it, he finds it's been hollowed out to make room for five Inventory Stake Vouchers.
Are you saying that the book contains five of those vouchers, or that the book has room to hold five of them? Because if it already contains them, I'll take them and the book that's holding them.

Otherwise I'll just take the book.
I'm saying it contains 5 vouchers.
I'm not going to tell you what to do with them, but considering you have one teammate who can screw your luck over if you decide not to share...
Ok, then I'm going to give 1 to Sky Kushryd to do with as he pleases (Both because he has his luck power and because he tried to do something both smart and useful last turn), use 1 to try to win a trait, and save the other three in reserve till further notice.
then I suppose I should tell you more about the patrons to see who you wish to challenge.
There are currently six patrons in the Inventory, not counting those playing poker.
An Australian with a rifle over his shoulder sits at a table with a man in a cowboy hat and welding glasses. Drinking at the bar is a military man, while a man in a white lab coat stands talking to a strange biped with five eyes, and small arm sprouting out of it's chest. A young woman in an orange jumpsuit is pushing the buttons on the jukebox, but hasn't inserted any coins.
The challenged player (aka the patron) chooses the game. You may refuse and challenge someone else. Gambling is not an action proper, more of a game mechanic, so it does not award XP. You may, however, take an action in an attempt to improve your odds. How a winner is determined is a secret. Traits will be related to the patron they were won from.
