I didn't mean people (in this case; I do agree that in general common sense is rare), I really meant in gameplay. You just can't sit and play Heroclix with a sens eof logic anymore. It's gotten so complicated and twisted on itself it;s a shame these kinds of questions need to be asked.
amen to that and a shame for people trying to teach the game.
I'd still argue common sense isn't so common in Heroclix. The original ruling on Spot comes to mind (before they errated the card). At the time, normalview seemed very confident in the ruling. Bag-Man also comes to mind. My common sense says the ruling is wrong, but a rule was added to make the outcome work.
And to me, the ruling on Bag-Man makes perfect sense and is the way it should be based on how his card is worded.
Not trying to argue about Bag-Man or the rules involved, just saying that common sense isn't so "common" (in other words it isn't always uniform across multiple people).

Agree on the common sense point and exactly what I was hoping to convey. We can all reasonably disagree on things so clear wording is important.
At what point does the replicate appear, immediately or after the action is complete? Example, I hit Madrox with doubles; he takes damage from the initial attack then flies back and hits a wall for another click of damage. Since each damage was independently administered but both were from the same attack, does he create 2 multiples?
If the answer is no, only 1 is it placed adjacent to the initial square, or the final square near the wall?

It happens immediately. (It has the same timing as Mystics.)

There would be only one because the knock back damage is not from an attack, so there would be no multiple generated.

"When a player rolls doubles on a successful attack roll, the target is knocked back after any damage taken from the attack is applied."
The multiple is generated when he takes the damage and KB happens after he takes damage.
