even if he wasnt pushed off of barrier, you still cant get a DFD for DFDing yourself.

just like you cant get an AST for plexing yourself, etc.

i also dont believe you can get an AST for busting a wall to create a barrier or plexing up someones range to make a barrier.

im pretty sure you can only gain an AST if there is an associated SA.

i mean, its pretty much the same thing as someone in basketball getting an assist when no basket is made, which never happens.

destiny's AST is a no-go too, because when impervious hits, its essentially the same thing as the attack "missing", which is why the associated attack didnt result in an SA.
