I was hoping for a Wonder Woman with that look but I didn't realize it would be here so soon. These figures are a pleasant and unexpected surprise! Thanks WK for making my day!
I am curious as to HOW they are available? Incentives for purchase levels or directly available for sale. They mentioned "SWAG", which implies that they are free (as real swag is). I am not able to attend Origins, but a Gen Con trip is looking more and more likely now.
Yes, how are these available? Participation prizes? Swag the hall? Can't wait for Gen Con!

Hey, they've changed the main banner on the heroclix website to Captain America too. Maybe Wizkids is starting to update their website for proactively? They sure are going heavy on Convention LE's. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.
Ugh.....I HATE this! Bunch of great figs. that I
can't get without over paying for them on e-bay.
Wish they would stop doing this junk!
WizKids! Not all of us live in our Mom's basement and can
afford to go these stupid Cons or get worked over on
e-bay. Make the good figs. for everyone.
Some of us can be patient, and can occupy our time with other things as we wait.
Don't want to go the eBay route? Don't. Wait for the wide releases.

RULINGS QUESTION: Moonstone's trait says that she ignores blocking terrain for movement purposes.
She flies. That, barring Outwit to her flight ability, takes cares of outdoor blocking.
This means that indoor blocking would be her personal bugbear. That's fine. The trait takes care of that.
What about WALLS? They "behave like blocking terrain" according to the new rulebook, but as Captain America's Deflection Trajectory explicitly states his line of fire isn't blocked but by walls and indoor blocking terrain, the implication is that Moonstone would be stopped by walls, since they're not blocking?
Compare this to water terrain, which comes out and states that it "is hindering terrain for movement purposes." It never states that walls are blocking terrain--merely that they act like blocking.
i would only assume her trait is supposed to allow her to go through just about anything...i dont care what happens in the end, i want this new Thunderbolt/Dark Avenger piece!!!

Agreed, I didn't expect to see her in the costume at all, honestly. Although new Wizkids has been a lot more current with that type of stuff than I would have expected.

So, my best guess: walls stop Moonstone cold?
Unfortunately I'm afraid that she won't be able to go through walls, even though she should be able to do that too.

Sometimes the game effect doesn't match up with the intention. In this case we don't know what the intention was yet, but I think she can only go through blocking terrain.
This seems like one of those things where the intention is clear. Hopefully they'll errata the wording in the upcoming PG.

How exactly does Karla Sofen make the cut to be a Con Exclusive LE? In terms of recognition and popularity she seems a far cry from Silver Surfer, Nova, Parallax, Knightfall Batman, Mighty Thor or Wonder Woman, to say nothing of the various colossals. Those caught the eye and brought the game exposure.
Karla is just not on the same level and I don't see how she will do much to promote the coolness of the game (especially if the transition from digital to production and paint is as bad as it looks in this snapshot). Certainly she'll please the fans of the now defunct Dark Avengers, but I don't see any compelling reason for her to be an exclusive other than 'We needed something from Marvel to pair with Wonder Woman for the big show'.
I was given rep for my screen name alone! Now I feel all warm inside
They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." Robert Downey/Tony Stark
