I love this. More Sentinels is one thing I will never complain about.
Now onto the complaining(LOL): They tell us 4 or 5 days before they come out? WTF. I would like to buy Apoc, 1 Mark V and 3 or 4 Mark IIs. Assuming that they are 24.99, that's well over 100 bucks. I'm not made of money and have already agreed to go on several trips(i.e.- Six Flags) which will leave me with very little disposable income. Had they given a little more warning, I could have set some money aside and participated in the feeding frenzy.
Now I may have to wait and catch them on the secondary market. Grr.

I likes the dials, the added sentinals helps, as well as a slimmer Apoc. However, the distribution model obviously sucks for those who don't live near a TrU. However, I felt the same burn when the convention exclusives were released.
What rubs me the wrong way, is that this takes business (or potential business) out of brick and mortar stores. These are the stores where we play that actual game, not Toys R Us. The B&M stores already have a hard time competing with online sales, and now Toys R Us and Target are creeping in, it hardly seems fair. Eh, whatever, I'll probably still pick up one or two bots.
If only they'd have made that Apocalypse with different hands. The new point options are nice but I am guessing this will make GSX Apocalypse drop in value. Not sure why they waited so long to tell people about this. The Toys R' Us stores in Canada already get screwed on a lot of things and now this. Most likely this is an issue with TRU and not NECA as they don't want to risk product sitting on the shelf in some markets.
This is just poor planning on their part. The distribution is missing major areas. Look at Missouri, my state. Instead of putting them out in the 2 largest cities, they put it in Springfield, mostly a tourist destination, not that Springfield is a bad place. I'm just saying they would sell alot more if they were distributed in St. Louis and Kansas City.
The limited store selection thing is kind of off-putting, but that's no doubt a decision made by Toys R Us, not Wizkids.
They're probably just putting them in stores that actually sell collectibles, as some TRU stores have piles of the Classics Clix just laying around in clearance bins now.
I don't collect/play with the colossals, but the store down the street from me is one that will stock these. I'll have to offer them for trade or something.

I'm about an hour and a half away from the Saginaw MI TRU but distance isn't even the major problem I have.
My biggest problem right now with WizKids/NECA is to much to fast. My pocket book can not keep up with all the releases that are slated for this year. And I'm just talking about the ones we know about. Then they spring surprises like this on us.
Don't get me wrong I love the figures and I will have to find a way to get them, but they really need to consider slowing down a bit. People are going to get burned out with this steady flow of releases....

Really awsome to see these nice pt values looks like alot of fun to play. Sadly no love for the minnesota stores. Come on it's winter here 10 months out of the year all we do is sit around and play heroclix. Give us some love.

These should have been the dials in the set, then I would have wanted them. Dunno about limited stores its going to be hard to justify going about 40 miles with gas the way it is, if they were at my local Target I'd pick up a couple of the Sentinels.
They really should have repainted or renamed those sentinels. I just realized that they used the GSX expansion symbol. Without looking specifically at the base, an opponent could be running 6 sentinels of the same mold & name with different dials and its going to be hard to keep up with which ones are which.
Anything that ultimately benefits a specific retail chain and/or primarily feeds secondary markets is a mistake, period. All you end up doing is making a good part of your player base feel alienated, particularly when there's no easy solution for those of us in major market areas which were inexplicably excluded. I love the idea of alternate and "special" figures, but the distribution should be less exclusive.

I second that. I'm going from completes to just the ones I like or are worth playing. Lets not mention that I'm running out of room for all this plastic crack.
