So correct me if I'm wrong, this set will be made up of 2/3 re-issues (Same dial, sculpt, colors), the other 1/3 will be made up of a few brand new characters, and some old characters(from the first set) that will just have differebent colors and dials, but same sculpts?
Let me find the strength to cut back on this game!

they'll all be new dials i think. they have to be compatible with heroclix and most of those dials would be worse than infinity challenge pieces(yes i know there are some good ones but you know what i mean).

All of the dials will be new, though they might borrow a few aspects from the ActionClix figures, such as grenades.
All but five of the sculpts will be reused sculpts from ActionClix. No idea if the 'five new sculpts' include any possible chase figures.
Some or all of the sculpts might have new or improved paint jobs.
The original ActionClix run included over 90 figures, though possibly a little shy of 90 unique sculpts I think, because of the red/blue spartan duplicates and Active Camouflage variants.
With a sprinkle of new sculpts they could easily squeeze two 45 figure sets out, which might be the reason for that set size. But that probably depends on how well the first set does. They might have a bit of push back from retailers because of ActionClix product still sitting on the shelf.
I'm really hoping that the quality of the release is far better than the ActionClix stuff they released last year. How good GoW looks gives me hope, because I suspect the two sets would have been done with some continuity of play in mind.
I'm really hoping the dials are close to being as good as the gears ones. I'm a huge fan of Halo and gears so now I need a huge covenant army to go up against all of the Master chief figures lol. I'm not really to interested in the Multiplayer figures but I need the campaign figures.
So the mystery figure is 'Master Chief and Abiter' but the sculpt is just Master Chief with 'Yorick' (the skull). We know there's a Master Chief and Arbiter sculpt that was seen at SDCC. So is this figure on the wrong base?
So if these "new" figures are chases I'm gonna be pissed. I so want the mc and cortana, mc and arbiter, master chief with oddball, and the master chief on ghost. And I'll spend tons to get them.

From the pics I would say that the ghost and mc/arb are chase figures. Assuming oddball mc is misbased, it could be something else, but it's probably chase. Mc/Cort looked like SR to me.
It looks like mc/a is piece #44, and mc/ghost is #45, so apparently chase figures are included in the 45 figure count for the set.
