I'm getting a commission of Man-Thing (Marvel Property) and am trying to think of something that's not a static, lumbering beast through the swamp. Maybe reaching out and grabbing somebody/something? Any ideas, or artist style you prefer over the other?
I only communicate with him by asking his mom to tell him I said hello once like every two years.
Nope. You're just a realistic human being who, although he would like to, realizes that he can't transcend time and space and be friends with all the same people all his life.
Being a better friend may consist of letting old friends who are not actually a part of your life go instead of contacting them in the pointless pursuit of a relationship that has changed when said contacts just make them feel guilty and as thought they are a "bad friend".

On a regular-sized dial? My first thought is to have a swampy landscape with the top of his head down to the eyes and the branches on his back visible, but with the rest of him below the water. That seems like it would work better on a 4X4 dial, though.

Don't ever play Magic. It corrupts you and kills you on the inside. Now excuse me, I need to go play some Magic. . .
See and all this talk of Magic was making me want to check it out, but I'd have nobody to play with and it would take away from my clix/video game/comic/weightlifting/happy wife fund.

Sorry, I should have preface it with an art piece.
Although, I may have to have somebody make a Man-Thing clix figure if one doesn't show up in Hulk. Good idea.

You need a fund for weightlifting? Seems like a one time expenditure to me. Buy some weight, then lift them.
So howsabout them Heroclixes? A few weeks after Superman is out, does anyone have any unforseen hits or misses from the set?
My surprise hit is the common Maxwell Lord. His trait plus triple Incapacitate plus Outwit makes him an enormous pain and is hilarious.
My surprise miss, so far, has been Black Adam. I have never seen him be even remotely worth his points. Either his dial is too short for the points or too impotent for the points, depending on what point value you're playing him at. Someone may prove me wrong at some point, especially on the 100 point one, but that hasn't happened yet.
I dig both of the Maxwell Lord figures.
For me, the surprise hit has been Invisible Kid. I never thought he'd be as good as he is in a set riddled with Superman TAs. In the three sealed events I've been in so far, he's been on every team. Not being able to draw a line of fire to him when he's clear is nice, he makes a great taxi, he gets some perplex, AND his Wildcard ability is Silver Banshee and Manchester Black's best friend.

I've played a lot of Legion so far (I believe "STOP PLAYING THE LEGION" is an exact quote from mutantwolf as of last saturday) and I've only ever played him as point filler. On a Legion team in the current environment he doesn't add much, since they can't use a taxi or a wildcard very well. I love the idea of giving Supergirl Stealth, though. I think he's great, but I haven't come across a great team for him yet. Would love to see that trait on a lot more invisible characters in the future.
