We only do our Saturday games once a month. They are going to be for bigger prizes usually. This month we are playing for as many Hulk packs as the entry money can pay for. If we get 10 players at $5 per person entry cost, we will probably have about 5 packs up for grabs as the prize. Next month (Date TBD) the entry cost is likely going to be $10, but we will likely be playing for the Dr. Manhattan colossal figure.

Had a great time tonight. The mood is much more chilled and less super competitive. I'll def make it out again. I probably won't make it for this Saturday but the next one sounds good. And for next Wednesday no feats/bfcs correct?

You are correct. No feats or Battlefield conditions, but you can play any standard or special objects from all ages and any bystander/Horde tokens from any set too. We allow every figure to be played from any Heroclix set.

Wednesdays are normally taken as that's our regular date night but on occasion I'll switch with another night. And I'm glad to see you're a Judge now. We're pretty fortunate in the Greater Chicagoland area to have as many good Judges as we do. Thanks again and I hope to see you soon!

Just one last shout out to anybody that wants to come out for our first Super Saturday Heroclix tournament today at Fair Game. We are playing 600 points Modern Age. It is a $5 entry fee, but that $5 goes toward the prizes for the event. The more players we get the more packs of Heroclix you could win.

Game starts at 1pm and as usual, there will be free Heroclix just for participating!

Just had a few ideas for some build themes:

Uneasy Alliance

Team is pairs of mortal enemies

Shoot'em Up

All figures have range of 5 or more

Beat'em up

All figures have 0 range

Jocks vs Nerds

Team must consist of brute, thug, and warrior keywords or scientist, politician, and ???

UN Brawl

All characters must be from a foreign country

Or how about a custom keyword night. Either common sense or comic accurate. Like when someone who has Monster but not Brute. Or when some isn't listed as an Avenger or anything like that.
For example there's Red Hulk's Code RED from Hulk vs. X-Force. Here you could have Crimson Dynamo, Deadpool, Punisher, Thundra, and Elektra.
You should be able to give Magneto the Xmen keyword now that he's joined with them. These are examples but I'm sure you catch my drift. I guess people would need to have pre-approval from the judge though

Also the Cabal! The much darker embodiment of The Illuminati put together by Norman Osbourse while he was in charge of the show. Many good heavy hitters come to mind.

Norman Osbourne/Iron Patriot, Dr. Doom, Loki (Male or female), The Hood, Taskmaster, and even Namor. You could also include Sentry to act as The Void.

I'm sure many more teams are unnamed in Clix we could use

Love this idea as I plan on playing GotG a lot over the next few months and a lot of the older figures that were on the team are missing the keyword.

Just a reminder to everybody about what this week's game is as it is WAAAAAAY back on page one:

-(Feb 29th) 500 points "Rise of the Machines" - You may either play with a team consisting of characters that either have the "Robot" keyword or that have Robot, Cyborg, or Machine in their name somewhere, or you may play with characters that have the S.H.I.E.L.D. , Hulkbuster, Soldier, or Police Keywords.

Gona be fun. Will it be paired in a way that soldiers will only fight machines? I have feeling there will be more people with soldier teams. But we shall see.
