I try to avoid award shows...usually I disagree with whoever decides who wins...or who even gets nominated :-/

I've actually been to Cubs' games that were like that. You cheer when a guy gets a walk, because, you know, any team can have an off century.

It's just that I don't get informed, and there doesn't seem to be any attempt to inform me at all.

This was acceptable before I was interested in a lady, and trying to set up times when I'm available to do things. Now it is tremendously annoying, as there are other things for me to do, but I need to give someone a heads up if we're going to do them.

Yes, it's the guy running it, and he was out of state this weekend. I called him while I was standing there at the bookstore, and his response was, "Oh, I thought ____ was going to tell you when you saw him."

For the record, "____" is a guy I despise immensely, whom I have avoided at all costs, mostly because I didn't like how he drove a girl out of our gaming group with his lecherousness. So he's not going to tell me ####.

It's gotten to the point now where I'm just going to start assuming there is no game, until it's 15 minutes past gametime and they're calling and asking for me. I loved playing that game, but I just get fed up with this. There's 100 different ways of communicating something to me, and half of them don't even require effort.

I definitely want to check out The Artist as well.

(Too bad that Stan won't be watching it due to being a b/w foreign film with subtitles... Oh well.)
