Finally got to listen to the first episode and really liked what I heard. One suggestion would be to perhaps bump up the volume on your mics a tad but otherwise I'm interested in catching the next episode. Good stuff!

Just reminding everyone, we'll be recording the next episode tonight and hopefully have it posted by Sunday or Monday. A new thread will be opened in this category as soon as it is up. Make sure to follow us on Podbean, or search for and subscribe to us on iTunes and Stitcher.
So..... due to family obligations and conflicting schedules, we just recorded the episode tonight. And as we're still new at this, it's still in dire need of some editing. We should have the episode up in a couple days. We promise to be a bit more punctual with future episodes.
...what Rob means by Family Obligations is that it was my wife's birthday on Saturday, and mine on Sunday - 'Clix didn't quite rank. Blame me, it's totally my fault.
BUT - the episode is recorded, and I'll be editing tomorrow during lunch on the Macbook and at home after work. Hope to have it posted by Wednesday!
Just a quick update - if it COULD have gone wrong tonight editing, it DID go wrong tonight editing. It'll be done tomorrow, but as it stands, I've been fighting with my Macbook for the last 3 hours, and I'm exhausted.
Obviously you won't be able to put it in this episode, but I'm curious about both of your feelings come July 1st when Guardians of the Galaxy will be slashed hardcore with Hammer of Thor and Web of Spiderman going out of Modern Age...or perhaps this doesn't affect you at all due to mostly playing Golden Age.
I just really liked the bit in the first episode about the GotG team(s) and was excited to hear you talk in the future about them once the Galactic Guardians set came out.

I like this thought. Considering that this is a Strategy Podcast, however, I would encourage this:
What do you guys think this will do to the format? By cutting out WoS and prior, what can we expect to see dominate the Meta-Game? Obviously, Superman is going to be a powerhouse, and we will likely see the Gauntlet on just about every team. TK will become even more invaluable as a tool to get an alpha strike without Ben-crawler bringing then to the killbox. No SI Doctor Strange will contribute to quicker games. Taking out Gotham City Detectives, Lilahs, and Researchers might slow down Professor X if he doesn't get some other cheap damage boosters. Feel free to point out the repercussions of those kinds of things.
But surely, there might be some secret strategies that can come forth from the reirement. This may not be applicable until the whole Avengers set is reveal--we could very well be getting some Meta Figures in this set. But there have been characters in the new modern age that may have been overlooked that now have the chance to shine. Here are a few examples.
GSX Angel and GSX Leech--Without Lightspeed, could this be the combo to help shut down Superman's HSS? Tie up Superman, place Leech out of LOF to Superman, and take pot shots with PB ranged attackers.
CA SHIELD Specialist--With no Nurse or Atom to turn to for support, maybe these pieces will be more widely utilized. Other medics include GSX Elixir or DC75 Indigo-1
CA Darkstar--a great piece already, that upfront TK and free action smoke cloud might be able give board control. Losing Lyssa Drak, we need some more of this. Board control options like CA Invisible Woman, DC75 Isis
CA Maelstrom--A powerhouse piece, that changes to Power Cosmic might help him get set up faster. For other One Man Army possibilities, see DC75 WL Sinestro, CA Quasar, IH Cosmic Hulk
DC75 Ragdoll--I forsee tie-up pieces getting a new lease on life, and Ragdoll is the best. And now that Bullseye is gone, he might get an even greater edge at surviving. Also see IH Shadowland Daredevil and IH Man-Wolf, or CA Squirrel Girl for just tie-up
GG Adam Warlock--I was concerned before, but with the power to constantly change forms and upfront RS and PB, he could be great. That combo could be even better now. See GSX Skullbuster and GSX Emma Frost
IH Amadeus Cho--He's been seeing some play, but Up Front support powers like PC and Perplex don't have to worry as much about getting picked off without Nightcrawler around. Cho is cheap and efficient at what he does. Others include IH Bruce Bammer, SM Zibarro, SM Brainiac 5, DC75 Detective Chimp
CA SHIELD Specialist--With no Nurse or Atom to turn to for support, maybe these pieces will be more widely utilized. Other medics include GSX Elixir or DC75 Indigo-1
Just some ideas, take them as you will!
you are spot on everything! One man armies don't get much better than WL Sinestro. As per what you said above, Tarot is bar none the best. Support, good attack, and amazing powers overall, Especially having pc, perplex, etc.

I actually give some love to Darkstar in the upcoming episode. I do like a lot of the ideas you mentioned. We will probably discuss the new modern age in the next episode and maybe tell some stories as a farewell to some beloved pieces that have gone into retirement.
And with all of the information coming out of the GAMA trade show, we're pretty excited to get some reactions recorded for you guys. The 3rd dose of Push to Regen maybe coming quicker than you think. Keep your ears peeled for an upcoming Push to Regen: Free Action!
