I too am a bit shocked that WoS was taken out of Modern Age circulation.

However, maybe now I'll finally be able to get a CUR at a reasonable (for me) price.

The whole color the picture tag makes it seem like someone half assed it, putting a note to color the pictures in but never got around to it...

I'm reading all the rage over retirement as if it was written lke this:

Do people only play Modern Age at their venues?

The venue(s?) I play at usually do from any set unless something special. Granted one venue states that then always tends to do from the newest set only the whole time, making me wonder why I have all these other clicks if I can't play them...granted the other venue doesn't do that. Worst they do is 50% from the new set, which I can work with. IG3 is Modern Age only because that's the suggested format...granted not sure what to play for it yet.

I mainly prefer Modern age but once in a while I'll do golden age. After GSX gets retired I'll be playing golden a lot more.

We play 98% Golden Age. Kinda whatever we feel lilke.

Wade's was pretty funny, too. It's not even worth engaging in debate with the wave of negativity every time set retirement is announced. Those people stick their fingers in their ears and go:

"NANNANANAAANANANAAAAA can't hear you! WK = Devil!"

As if the company was sending shock paratroopers to their house to pry little plastic dolls from their chubby hands.

Sheesh.

I don't get the anger over either Modern or Golden. To me, they are both just different kind of formats to utilize to give your venue variety. If a venue only used one or the other, it would get boring. I like to do a combination of both and the Silver Age (TM) format along with all sorts of scenarios.

At our venue Modern Age is any figure with cards and Golden Age is any figure and you can use feats and bfc.

I mix it up when I'm putting together the tournament schedule each at the venue. Each month, you'll get a good mix of Modern, Golden, and that Silver Age created by VGA.

Oh, and one of the owners at my venue is at GAMA and posted earlier this evening that Assassin's Creed is getting Clixed. Oh, and she posted this on her Facebook page:
