As a Lantern fan I hate to admit it, but a New Guardian event would have been great. The power rings would have been perfect perticipation prizes. I just feel like there has been a bit too much Lantern Corps recycling though.
All of the entities attach to the Book of the Black, as used by Krona (a parallel to the Infinity Gauntlet, as used by Thanos). I've picked the prizes as characters that I think people will want, but that hopefully wouldn't cause too many riots (Glomulus might).
While doing this, release a set where we get a smattering of Rainbow Lanterns to help increase excitement, including:
That would give us all of the important Lanterns from the Red, Orange, Blue, Indigo, and Violet factions. Obviously the set would have Green Lanterns too, which would be good for GL fans.
That leaves us with some unmade Sinestro Corps members we can get spread out 1 or 2 per set in the coming years, and plenty of unmade Black Lanterns. The whole layout isn't perfect, but I think it's a workable concept.
While a great concept (I love me some Lanterns), it seems like almost everyone is forgetting that we are getting TWO BATMAN SETS to correspond with the event.
Why in the world would WK even think of running an OP event for TWO BATMAN SETS and not have it be themed around a BATMAN STORYLINE.
Did Batman play a part in the War of Light? No.
So why would they dedicate TWO BATMAN SETS worth of special tournaments to a GL storyline?
I collected that entire No Man's Land run. It was great stuff. It makes sense for the piles of bat clix coming this fall. I understand how the DC fans might feel shafted though.
To me, Crisis on Infinite Earths makes more sense as an event, or just a whole crisis series of events. But we are getting Batman related sets this fall. So the prize is his utility belt. Ok, kind of cool I guess. It just depends on how they choose to separate the items.
If I had to choose an event though or at least a prize in the event I would pick not just batman's stuff but also a collection of things used in the comics by his enemies. Stuff like this...
Penguins Umbrellas
Riddler's Clues
Two Faces Coins
The Red Hood's Hood
Cat Woman's whip
Deadshot's gauntlets
Scarecrow's Mask
Kind of like Batman is able to take them down and confiscate what truly makes them dangerous, seems more fun then everyone getting Bruce's wonderful toys...
Scourge (Nuke) : Proud member of the Justice Like Lightning Thunderbolts Clan!
Invasion would have been cool. Different alien generics for the prizes.
Daxamites! Dominators (different than the ones we have)! Durlans! Khunds! (just don't say the last one that loudly!)

I don't think that people are forgetting that at all. People are discussing alternative directions that Wizkids could have taken instead of Batman x2 and the Utility Belt.
I'm a big fan of Batman and the Birds of Prey though, so it works well enough for me. I cannot wait for those sets to hit.
Seriously. I thought he was the original Azrael, because outside of his bio there's no notable difference. The costume's differences I just chalked up to game redesigns.
The Azrael costume in Arkham is a mix of JPV's and Lane's, so it could have been either one if there wasn't a bio. He actually says he is from the Order of St. Dumas in the game which is the order JPV belonged to while Lane was a part of the Order of Purity. That would have led you to believe it was JPV unless you read the bio. A minor mistake they missed.

Did you throw the remote Batarang at him?
Yeah, the reference to Dumas is why I thought it was Jean Paul. Then I read the bio and decided it didn't matter since the character's role in the series (so far) is minor.
And I did throw the Batarang at him. Fun little thing that the designers did there.

I think this would've been an amazing set up. Rep to you good sir!
